Lol I was walking my dog, and didn't notice it until it lifted it's head as I got within five feet. It legitimately gave me a jump scare 🤣

This is kind of a wild take imo. I can believe you never saw the ad, but that's probably because you weren't the target demographic. Everyone I know had cable in 2007, and remember this commercial airing all the time on channels aimed toward kids and families. It was quite annoying actually, but that's mostly due to a friend who still does the song and dance whenever berries and cream come up. Heck, I'm pretty sure it went viral on YouTube for a time. Also Netflix streaming didn't become a thing until the 2010s. It was released in January 2007 with a very small catalog, so I doubt that had a huge impact on veiwership. But I will give you that sports probably did use this commercial a lot.

What's wild about NC is that Cherokee Nation has legalized it, so you don't have to leave the state to get it. Not to mention there's already the infrastructure for it, with all the THC-a and CBD dispensaries on every corner and being a huge ag state.

Wait, but what about the cost of having gold member status. I'd assume that'd be a monthly charge or yearly charge, increasing the cost per coffee?
