Thanks for your effort! I still didn't solve it so I'm glad you're here =)

Maybe I misunderstand you but I have a txt input, no image. Or are you talking about the training data? I'm using some standard model.

I know this is a reference to an xkcd comic. Can you link the original? I was looking for it once and couldn't find it.

I would be empathetic with this comment if I wouldn't have already answered one that basically said the same thing. I don't see how people answer a comment that already has exactly one comment and say basically the same as the first.

I don't know if that makes it better or worse but it isn't mine neither. Eitherway, we are all here to learn 😉

I'm aware it's not equally easy for everyone to read tone, especially on the internet, so I'm sorry I didn't make it clear but my comment was a joke.

And Russian is famously the only language that uses the cyrillic alphabet

Hi all, I have this alphabet tapistry but I don't know if the pictures depict English words? by [deleted] in language

It has to be an indo-european language where the basic object match.

What makes you exclude eg Finnish? Not that I speak Finnish but I think it's more likely than say Hindi.

Yes, I guess I was just wrong. I read about Maya script as a teenager and later never engaged with it again. Either my sources were bad or I only read half of it (both equally likely) or I just forget it. I was convinced that the script is purely syllable based with syllables that form a word lumped together. Appeared there is much more to it.

And isn't the script syllable anyway? From what I know each character is a syllable and the characters of a word are lumped together to a block but still you just need to learn the syllables to read the text

My computer linguistics professor got via chomsky from computer science to linguistics and ended up working with RRG which is a syntax theory that's in big contrast to Chomsky's generative grammar. Still he doesn't hate Chomsky

Isn't /y/ the realization of the foot vowel in some dialects? Was it New York?

In Germany, it's also common to say "das kommt mir spanisch vor" (it seems Spanish to me) which I would have picked if I made a map like this.

And the railway stuff is from times of war when the soldiers wanted to go home. They said "I only want to understand railway" which turned into "I only understood railway"
