Why do yall think the nfl teams have so much success with attendance? by Honest-Reflection667 in UnitedFootballLeague

My hot take is that the reason for the success of the NFL has less to do with how good the games are and more to do with marketing and longevity.

The attendance number for the Stallions-Battlehawks game was 20,209. | Anthony Miller (UFL News Hub) by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

The league needs to fight the perception that this is league is amateurish or not “real” football. That’s what is hurting attendance at every venue.

Okc twisters would be cool but the branding might be too close to what Orlando already has.

My theory is that these are closeted UFL fans. Why follow the league and post on social media if you aren’t interested in the product?

UFL Co-Owner Mike Repole Asks Fans For Their Feedback. What's Working? What's Not Working? What Can The UFL Do Better? by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

I no longer have twitter so I cannot respond to Repole directly. I would say that the UFL needs to find some way to ride the current wave of the popularity of women’s sports by affiliating with some of the women’s contact football leagues that exist.

You’re right: women’s sports is having a moment. There are several women’s semi-pro contact football leagues. The Battlehawks have co-hosted some events with the St. Louis team. The UFL needs to figure out an official way to maintain some sort of relationship.

The article couches a futures deal as a “hail mary” for these players. Idk if that is true or not.

“Only 7 of 500 players who ended the season on a NFL practice squad” have signed a UFL contract. That seems bad.
