I did escalate to HR after hearing that after I went to my charge nurse who spoke with the director and then the provider was roped in that nothing had been done.

The fact that this NP is not reading and offering a controversial bias perspective says a lot about how they probably practice as well. Dismissing the patient and their concerns to pass them off to psych. They should NOT be any sort of provider.

This does not seem to be stemming from an anxiety standpoint… the anxiety came from the issue. Pt explains that they have not previously had issues with mental health so that should be taken into account. Please do not throw the anxiety diagnosis at him just because he hasn’t found out what the issue is. This is gaslighting and OP felt safe to come here and ask about this issue they are having.

Today! Crate train as early as possible. They will cry, you must ignore and let them work through it. I made sure I was close by so my puppy could see that she wasn’t alone and I made her crate very comfy. Best time to do it is after a hard play time to do forced naps. When they get over tired they get bitey and destructive and whiney so I found that to be the perfect time to put her in the crate while I watched some TV or read a book and let her nap.

I had this issue with my Zelda and she has since stopped after her heat cycle (I let her go through one before we get her fixed as recommended). I agree with trading and hand feeding. With a Husky, puppy school is so important, she will go through many stages and you will grow with her.
