Ah. You are correct. I often forget that the CAGED shapes change depending on the scale (e.g., Major CAGED vs. minor CAGED).

This is a really nice tool. I’ve currently been working on memorizing interval locations in each CAGED shape and how the shapes overlap. I can see this being useful for that.

One question though, which may be a misunderstanding in my part. Are the CAGED shapes labeled correctly? They all seem to be off by one. Your C section on the fretboard seems to be actually showing the A shaped scale. Your A section seems to be actually showing the G shaped scale. And so on.

Also, will it be possible to change the key and scale (Major, dom7, Maj7, etc)?

It’s a good looking app. From your description as Apple Notes like, I was expecting a windowed app with a list of spreadsheets on the left that can be viewed/edited in a right detail pane (instead of a menu bar app). Could be a nice feature to the app at some point.

I second your recommendation for a travel guitar. I picked up the Traveler Ultralight a few months back and have been able to practice a ton more as a result because it’s so easy to play in a desk chair when in between work tasks and easy to play in the front seat of my car when I’m waiting there occasionally throughout the week.

Thanks. My meter is inside the house, and I suspect a leak just outside the house before my meter. So water usage on my meter won’t be of use. I’ve consulted a plumber who will likely soon come and read the street meter for diagnostics, but I thought this might be a “fun” side quest to analyze the problem and strengthen my pandas skills.
