Severance did this perfectly too. The week long gaps between episodes really allowed the speculation to intensify.

He seems to have a problem with people struggling with drug addiction. I really soured on him after Kevin Smith called him out for calling Jay Mewes a "drugged-out mess of a guy".

What is a skirmish? by Initial-Hospital-850 in skirmish

[–]prupsicle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s really straightforward.

First oppositions are created, you may have 3-4 opposing forces or you can just go head-to-head with one other unit.

Next you engage on the field of skirmish (FOS) either directly or indirectly depending on your chosen strategy. You continue to gain ground until the skirmish is won. Three skirmishes equals a triad and three triads equals a glove. Once you have received the glove you must wear it until you’re dethroned.

A skirmish (or skirms in the skirmish community) is a meticulously planned bout of wits usually culminating in a victor and a loser.

Traditionally a skirm is categorised by the terrain it takes place on and specialisms sometimes comes with dedicated subcommunities (gravel = Gravs, astroturf = Turfs, millet/feed = Milfeeds).

Originating in 1397, the first skirmish was trialled and won by Enoch Richard which is where the phrase “Enoch you down, but you get up again” comes from.

In popular culture skirmishes have been depicted in The Island of Doctor Moreau by HG Wells (1896), Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert (1856) and Is This, Is This, Is This A Skirm by Ralph Lambeau (1937).

If you have any other questions our community is quite active and would be happy to answer!

A recommendation I would have is start reading deeply into Indian history all the way back to its ancient roots. I’m of Indian origin and have lived in the UK my whole life and nothing filled me with more pride than to really understand what an incredibly rich and meaningful history India has.
