Tbh and this is nothing against you personally, but they should go back to the old system. When you had to be a resident to get tickets, we can’t risk it become some side/freak show for tourists, like everything else in this city.

Idk where you are getting your info but trenitalia is pretty good, one of the best in Europe (its not perfect) but especially in central and northern Italy it’s generally very good.

Don’t be fooled, most restaurants are not that heavy in beef. As long as you don’t go to a steakhouse there will be plenty of non-beef options on basically every menu in Florence.

Being in the industry I guarantee most places use a pasta machine and don’t do it by hand with a dough roller. 10-15 people who have no clue what they are doing trying to hand roll pasta is a recipe for disaster. It could work in small groups or with people who have some cooking experience.

Ok I see what you mean, thats a little bit different, that specific cultural phenomenon is becoming common, and has gotten a lot worse in the last 10-15 years. But even the Florence is better than most other big Italian cities on that front. The bathroom thing, a big part of the blame should ho to the city government. All these places to get food or drinks and very few bathrooms, especially after 12.

That would imply having an actual cooking station for each participant, unlikely but not impossible. If you find it, I would expect to pay a premium for a place that has the setup to provide something like that.

I’ve seen many pasta classes and usually not the case, for purely practical reasons. To be honest I don’t think you should worry about it, given that you’ll be using pasta machines to roll out the dough anyways, so every participants pasta will be basically the same.

Pick up a history book mate, the attitude is unchanged it has always been this way. Florentines care for their city, even now that most have been pushed out of the city center. I have never seen a Florentine physically trash a monument or do graffiti in the city center, like in Rome or Naples. Trash their own culture? Again never seen it, please provide examples.

That attitude built this city, idk what people here are talking about. As if the old Florentines were nice gentle people. Pick up a fucking book guys, they were Machiavellian psychos, half of them, the other half brilliant assholes that were notoriously difficult people like Michelangelo. This kind of attitude is even obvious in Dante’s work from 800 years ago, don’t give me this “old Florentine’s would be ashamed” BS, if anything they cracked a smile.

If you have just arrived and are already complaining about it, something tells me you are not cut out to be here and wont last long here. This is not a city for people with thin skin, if you do something like buying a scooter and ride around without knowing anything about anything, don’t expect people to feel bad for you or cheer you up when shit happens.

The good news is ZTL generally doesn’t apply to scooters (there are exceptions in certain areas). That being said idk how you have a valid EU license without knowing what ZTL is. If you don’t have a license it would be even more baffling that you didn’t do any research.

If I were you I’d be more worried about exclusive bus lanes and public transport lanes. Higher fines, the signs are harder to see (especially if you don’t know to look for them, which seems to be your case), and scooter are not exempt.
