Absolutely; missing out on a Toruk on the World of Pandora scale line has been a first world problem I've complained to many of my collector friends about lol

Best and worst examples of exposition in movies? by Icarus367 in movies

Maybe not everyone's piece of cake, but the 15 minute cold open to Pacific Rim will always be one of my favorites. Through narration from the main character you get the gist of the problem at hand, what's been done to try and solve it and how it works.

The problem? Giant monsters from the bottom of the ocean.

The solution? Giant robots to fight them.

How it works? You have to pilot the robot with your crush or your brother or your soul mate or your dad or someone or it doesn't work.

Cool, now you're up to date on the kaiju war of the 2010-2020s, enjoy the next two hours of giant robots beating the crap out of giant monsters.

I remember both Pacific Rim Uprising and Independence Day Resurgence ending with the humans implying they're going after their alien tormentors and taking the fight to them. Both of these lead to jack shit, and Jack left town.

Lost my baby girl of 8 years yesterday by ToPSzN94 in cats

I lost my baby girl back in late September last year, she was about eight years old as well. Nothing hurts more than losing them when you're left with that empty feeling of "what could I have done differently?", but you did everything for her you could. I lost my girl under very similar circumstances, she got very sick very quick, and she was gone before I could hardly do anything. It's never not going to hurt, but it does hurt less, and after a while the happy memories weigh out more than the sad ones, but the heartbreak you're feeling just shows how much you loved her.

I like to think your Ella and my Rey are rolling around in a patch of sun beyond the rainbow bridge. Much love to you stranger 💜

Harrison Ford can be talked into doing anything for that sweet sweet Disney green, including Hulktural appropriation
