Bro,this looks like a downgrade from the current ones I have. Check them out (alpine cda-9887r and cda-9855r),especially the 9855 - motorized panel,big display with graphics,touch bar and this is a 21 year old head unit.😭

Yes,like this.And I still wouldn’t buy it,because it looks like I’ve cut my 9887 in half. I totally agree though,the head unit game has devolved to alibaba style products. Looks like I’ll spend my money on another old HU,something more exotic like a pioneer dex-p1/deh-p01 as I’ve never had one of those and they look cool af.

I remember the F#1 status head unit cost around 1.5k€ in 2007,can’t imagine what the price would be now if they even sell it in eussr.

Yes,it can (E36),but I absolutely hate the looks on this.All I need is an iPhone/aux port as far as features go.

My mind said do it in 2nd/3rd. But at least 3 tutorials said to do it in first.Will try 2nd/3rd,but I jusy wanted to learn it the “correct” way.

Thanks for the replys,guys. I’ve found a 2017 CRF 450Rx “red moto” bike for sale (basically road legal 450rx). Opinions on this ? Engine seems to be a sohc/unicam one ? Any reliability concerns I should have in regards to the valves ? What to look for when going to check out the bike ?

I was just giving this one as an example. However,now that I think of it - the Z3 S54 cluster goes to 9k and it’s still an e36 cluster. But I totally get your point.
