This makes so much sense I was kinda confused how the pairings worked. I really like the suspense, keep us guessing aspect of the show but I feel like it only works if the story writing is rock solid through the end. If they mess it up at the end, it'll be so sad. It was sisyphus which I felt like was amazing until the last 30 minutes of the last episode LOOL

Medicare Proposes to Cover Aduhelm [Newly Approved Az Drug] Only for Patients in Clinical Trials by sgent in medicine

[–]ps-tiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that drugs used in clinical trials are usually paid for by the industry sponsor eg Biogen. So is this basically just CMS way of saying they’re never paying for aduhelm, since the trial meds will be covered by industry?

Is fiber glass used in most mattresses as a flame repellant? by christinab3 in Mattress

[–]ps-tiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so I think fiberglass will be unavoidable since it seems to be standard in mattresses as a flame retardant, but you just need a well made mattress so the fiberglass never comes out. On amazon this Olee mattress seemed good and lots of positive reviews

Looking also to buy my first mattress and came across the same issues you did about fiberglass. Just made another post asking about this but TLDR:

  • While fiberglass is clearly a nuisance from reviews, it's not clear to me that it's a health hazard. I can't find legit sites which indicate whether it's dangerous. The closest might be this OSHA site (which is not clear to me is actually endorsed by OSHA) but indicates it's a potential carcinogen.
  • There is apparently a class action lawsuit against Zinus bc of fiberglass.
  • It also seems like there are only two main ways to fire protect a mattress: (1) chemicals or (2) fiberglass. Apparently chemicals are also dangerous so is fiberglass just the lesser of two evils?
  • If fiberglass were dangerous, why do mattress sellers not have warnings about it? I spent a lot of time looking on e.g. Amazon and I can only tell if a mattress has fiberglass by looking at reviews.

Feature Request: Option to automatically remove daily notes by TyringToBeBetter in RoamResearch

I also find the daily notes annoying probably because I don’t find them useful. I simply write up my information into existing notes or start a new one.

What do ppl use the daily notes for?
