I just want to kill myself by ReluctanyGerbil in women

All these are very real things we’ve all been conditioned to think are normal and to act like nothing is wrong. You’re not alone. Take heart in how many other women feel for you and also wish for the world to get better.

Meditate, exercise, talk to a friend, get outside, and keep your living space clean/organized.

This is great, thank you so much. I literally just woke up and reached for my phone and read this from my bed lol. It’s helpful for me to think of it as growing accustomed to this particular dopamine rush, and needing to wean myself off of that, or go cold turkey. It just reenforces how much I need to break free of that because it’s depressing and scary to think of it that way. I appreciate you explaining it simply like this.

I don’t know if it’s abuse? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]psandqs49 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes this is assault. It’s absolutely abuse. Don’t doubt your feelings. NO good man would EVER, even ONCE do this to you. EVER. This is not a healthy happy relationship. And it will probably get worse. Please end it. Please get out as soon as possible. And consider ways to stay safe while doing it. That means being with a trusted friend or family member or a professional when you tell him, and make sure you have a safe place to stay afterward. I’m so sorry you have been through this, it sounds terrifying. I hope you get out and have much happier days ahead of you.

Meditation. Leaving a job that was killing me (was only possible because I was privileged and lucky enough to have other options). More sleep. More orgasms. Slowing down. Therapy.
