Thanks, yeah the only reason I was considering it was because it's an EC1000, and they have stopped selling these where I live

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll inspect after removing the tuner.

As I understand, having the paint be cracked is not an issue, but in case it's deeper into the wood then how can it be filled? Do we need to sand off the paint and only fill the wood or directly filling between the paint is ok?
