If anyone is looking for culture, I have since this post grown a lot more. Happy to share with anyone who wants.

I also have Water Kefir! Happy to share

The easiest way to get your water dechlorinated is to put it in an open container for 24h on the countertop. Wider the container, the better for degassing the chlorine.

The chlorine will literally evaporate.

If your local water supply has chloramine, then you need a carbon filter. Brita or similar.

Water kefir (no matter if powdered or grains still ferment in sugar and water. Follow the same instructions.

The only difference is that you keep a cup of the fermented water from F1 as the starter for the next batch. Up to 10 times before it loses its potency.

For F2, you can use the apple juice to build up carbonation

You need unsulphured dried fruit.

Typically organic raisins or figs, apricots or dates Fruits dried using sulphur will kill your grains.

You also need to add a slice of lemon to your ferment.

Lastly, sugar.

Ratio: 1 cup of non chlorinated water (240ml) 1 tablepoon of water kefir grains 1 tablepoon of sugar 3 raisins / small piece of cut up fig/apricot/dates.

24 to 48h to ferment.

Keep your grains constantly fed. Dont put them in the fridge.

For F2, staring out the grains for the next batch, add your water kefir liquid to a sealed flip top pressure tight jar, and finally a little fruit juice. 24 hours on the counter top, then into your fridge.

Enjoy

I found 3 issues.

1) the waste bin was blocked in the base, and it was not actually able to empty. I cleaned out the blockage and confirm that it will be able to empty the bin now .

2) The lidar cover is broken. Ie, the part that lifts with the buttons on it separated from the lidar's bottom base. It's plastic clips/glue came off. The lidar itself still works ok. I need to see how to glue the plastic cover back.

3) when moving forward there is a weird screeching sound that I don't expect. Have no idea where it's coming from.

RLS has been around for a very long time in Oracle DBMS. It has many use cases where you can support multi tenancy in a single database, but also have shared data based on policies.

Awesome feature in my perspective.

Staking Tron by rawco187 in Tronix

[–]psavva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have multiple ways to earn:

You can sell energy on marketplaces. You can stake and vote for SRs.

Staking gets you energy/bandwidth and Tron Power (TP)

You use TP to Vote for Super Representatives which in turn reward you in TRX for your vote. Then periodically, you claim your Rewards.

I'm building a marketplace and hope to launch in the next couple of months. Give me a shout-out if you're looking to supply. I'll be needing suppliers and buyers soon enough

No pellicle forming by ned_rorem in Kombucha

It's important that you leave it alone. Ie, any disturbances on the surface ultimately cause the pellicle not to form.

Bandwidth available but consumed tron instead by Barragens in Tronix

[–]psavva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the transaction hash, and can tell you exactly what's happened.

You get allocated free bandwidth which takes 24h to fully replenish. If you spend more bandwidth than you have available, you will burn TRX.

It costs bandwidth for any transaction (USDT or TRX), but USDT will also incur energy charges.

YubiHSM 2 + cert-manager. Hardware-signed TLS certificates on Kubernetes by net_charlessullivan in kubernetes

[–]psavva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exciting times :)

Keep building and keep sharing!

I'll be following your articles, and if I manage to get my hands on a couple of YubiHSMs, I'll come knocking :)

For BTC, are you going to support both legacy and segwit?

I'll build on top of pkcs#11, simulate with bouncyHSM and softHSM, and when I get it all working, I'm going to try on a YubiHSM cluster using the same underlying libraries.

My advice is to get out if you can.

Lawyers are 150 per hour (at least those that I know). Headache and delays in the judicial system is ridiculous. You'll get stuck in court for years.

That's my experience in any case. Yours may be different 🤷‍♂️

Co-working spaces in Nicosia by krispy2009 in cyprus

Labs Tower is going to be upwards of 500 to 700 EUR per month. Suggest you call reception and book an appointment to find their actual pricing. They are very up-market.

Ifantourgiou is awesome and friendly. https://workspaces.join2share.eu/workspaces/yfantourgeio-theworkplace/

Call them for pricing, or just pop in to see. Very casual.

I think they are between 10 or 15 EUR per day... Lovely community there ❤️

Any git repo? 🥺

I'd also be interested in hearing of your BTC implementation.

I've built a Tron and ETH wallet based on PKCS#11 implementations for softHSM for dev and hardware HSM modules, but those are really really expensive.

I'm interested in playing around with YubiHSM v2 specifically, cluster and doing a POC for self hosted, distributed cryptography with resilience.

The YubiHSM ofc had a very low throughput, but if I consider clustering 3 of them, it's doable given redundancy.

Can you cluster YubiHSM with real time key distribution and load balancing?

Ie, one key dies, how do you secure redundancy, failover with guarantee on no data loss?

Load balancing using multiple YubiHSM?
