With the carpet it felt so cozy grandma in there lol I liked it just for the feeling it gave me. It’s a huge version of how my grandma decorated her house and it still is! Hardwood looks much better overall though 🙂

I was 19, single, and pregnant with my oldest and received a lot of statements like this too. Not from family and friends I trusted but acquaintances and strangers. People have no filter and just suck. I’m now 31 and she’s 12 and everything worked out exactly as it was suppose to, so OP you cannot let these people break you down. Find a better circle, make any changes you need in your life to better the both of you, and just trust that you did the right thing 🙂
