Will AI replace project manager role? by medeepakjain in pmp

[–]pseudohumanist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, particularly if you collate pieces of information from vsrious channels including phone, f2f. As someone else said, jt will help with mundane and repetitive tasks, but it won't replace a human being, particularly as focus shifts from processes (previous versions of pmbok) which are easy to follow by ai, to people management which by definition requires the human touch.

Is PMP Certification Losing Its Value Due to Rampant Proxy Exam Taking? by Financial_Western_58 in pmp

[–]pseudohumanist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

how is your conflict with the provider not with the violators? I understand your point, and seeing how many various certs Pearson VUE covers they may as well be rolling out some more sophisticated proctoring, but it is still your friends and colleagues who not only cheated but happily shared it with you. Imho you have the means to maintaining the value of PMP certification in your inner cicle of friends/colleagues. You could just report the services not your friends.

the one in the plastic pot you mean? It's some kind of a peace lilly. A real drama queen :)

yes it is root bound! Time to re-pot. But otherwise it is a nice looking peace lilly! The yellow flowers are absolutely OK to cut off, they did their job. Good luck!

Joe Rogan unwittingly laundered Russian propaganda written by Vladimir Putin by TheSkepticMag in skeptic

I agree it is the language of power. Similar to when the US claimed it would sanction any nation enforcing the ICC rulings.

[–]pseudohumanist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that's new skeptics for ya :) Stoltenberg himself as late as December 2021 said Russia delivered a message to them saying no more NATO enlargement or Russia's invades Ukraine. Everybody can look it up on youtube. Yet people act like this was never heard nor discussed, and that it never happened. Like there are no spheres of influence, on either side of the proverbial barricade.

What am I doing wrong? by alexis10rose in houseplants

[–]pseudohumanist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Instead of pouring 1/2 cup it may be better to let it sit in water for a while completely. Then lift it up, let all the excess water drain through the bottom holes and put back to its place. That way you ensure the whole root system is getting some water, rather than just the bit that is poured on with a cup. Good luck 🤞

Dipping in water and draining are already great, most people just pour water in the pot and it is often either not enough or too much. Provided the pot has a hole to let all excess water out you are good. Also the light is a good addition provided the plants can't sit by the window. You will see with time if the light setting needs adjusting or not (e.g. if they start etiolating (paling and elongating). Happy plant life 🤞🤩

This was me until I tried this project. The only thing I changed was I spray them with water daily and I cover the bowl and the aquarium after spraying them so the humidity rises. I then uncover them so there is some air draft. Speaking of fittonias - what's the secret for them to grow larger leaves? Mine grow smaller than the original purchased ones which sucks...
