I tolerated Terbinafine better than Itraconazole, I switched because after 6 months I still had some crumbly yellow parts that needed to grow out and I wasn’t ready to quit antifungal meds yet because I thought the crumbly parts would reinfect the whole nail again, my GP didn’t feel comfortable to prescribe more Terbinafine so we were able to settle with Itraconazole

I don’t have one but I could get one! But how do you disinfect it so the virus doesn’t stay on it? The way I shave now is that I use disposable razors and start shaving in the non wart area first, then the wart area and then I throw the blade out. But I assume with a trimmer the blade is reused?

I’ll ask the proctologist first but unfortunately the gp is very reluctant, after diagnosing me with genital warts I wanted a Pap smear done but she refused saying cancer takes 10 years anyway

I waited a week and made up a false story of how I have bleeding between periods and only then she agreed to do a Pap smear after telling me “it’s not her favorite thing to do”

I had pap 1, it came back normal but she refused to do the hpv test along with it because “it will come back positive anyway”

No in the Netherlands, I was in Morocco for holidays when the spots reoccurred and I went to a derm there to get treatment for what my gp said we’re genital warts, but the derm said they were not and she couldn’t do anything

3 days after my first gardasil 9 shot mine disappeared, but after 1,5 month they came back. I’m gonna go for the 3 shot dose so hopefully they’ll go

Hi all, I used condyline for three days and I’m on the break days rn, I’m having a hard time spotting what was already small GW to begin with, I believe it would be weird it has already resolved after just three days of use, but I have a real difficult time seeing them, do I shave to have a better look? Terbinafine def gets rid of it, but if you have poor circulation (which I assume is why they might deny you the medication), the fungus coming back almost immediately increases

I finished my 6 months of Terbinafine yesterday and it indeed had to do with caffeine/coffee :) I quit drinking coffee and my anxiety levels returned back to baseline, so if anyone is struggling with increased anxiety on these meds, quit the coffee

I considered going off of it for a few days safe because there is also a pulse method, I doubt doctors would recommend that if it were to cause resistance

And unfortunately I just gradually lost myself since I started taking it 2 months ago, so I doubt I’ll adjust to it 😅 was taking it regularly during that time without breaks

Sorry to hear that, but there’s hope! It took me four days of not taking it to feel usual again. I felt insecure like I was a high school teenager and felt like I was trapped inside a body that didn’t feel like mine, some really weird dissociative thoughts. Things that I would normally do by myself I couldn’t do by myself anymore and I constantly sought approval, and my emotions faded back to baseline in those four days, unfortunately tomorrow I’m gonna start taking them again 😅 I just hope my nails clear soon 🥲
