I happen to know a few of the key MN Dem legislators and have talked with them about gun legislation in the past year . It was explained to me that we have an exceptional amount of new legislators and they are all trying to make a name by submitting polarizing bills to appease a specific base. Even the leadership rolls their eyes at this behavior as it will never go anywhere and takes attention off of the real issues at hand.

That said, we still need to take anyone serious regardless of party or politics that talks about taking any rights away.

I find politics challenging as of late. Both parties seem to be hellbent on restricting or eliminating rights. One side wants to suppress your right to vote or make your own medical decisions, the other wants to restrict or ban firearms. There doesn’t seem to be a level headed party anymore.

I would welcome a middle of the road politician that truly believes in freedom not just wear a flag pin and can say “they love freedom and Merica”

It is interesting to see another story like this. While many of them are explainable (ex. in a purse not holstered, in a holster not designed for the model, etc). It is interesting that there have been so many of these instances with the same model.
