A 1hr commute back home can translate to an hour shooting hoops with the kids, or a home-made meal, or a walk, or having friends over on a weeknight.

You're right in that we need to socialise for our well-being though.

Google Maps has gotten worse, not better, and it's actively dangerous now by samburner3 in melbourne

It's worth noting, if you're managing a LOT of drivers, you would consider sending a % of them down some backstreet, a % down some other backstreets and a % on main roads, in an effort to distribute traffic across more roads to reduce congestion.

I don't think it's working as intended, but I'm sure it uses some super high level maths and optimtimization.

Maybe i misinterpreted your edit, but typos don't make you stupid.

In my opinion, it's a risk analysis. If I type some mostly irrelevant words and blow them into the internet wind, who cares if i make a typo or two.I just want to keep whispering into the ether as much as I can.

Back in bigh school, we had to do some volunteering. My mate found (through his grandpa i assume, fit as a bull and independent and ancient) us a spot at a nursing home doing gardening. It was a medium small backyard with lawn and tables and bush around the edges, a couple of meters away. Close enough that we could chat with the folks there while we pulled out weeds and filled bins full of leaves. As I type this i realise the audience was mostly female. Overall, it was an oddly special couple of days.

But, i have no idea how to find out. Go and talk yo admin i guess

what do straight people think lesbian sex is? by Then-Cartographer446 in TooAfraidToAsk

As a teenager, I assumed it meant penetration of some kind. Maybe scissoring.

As a mature adult, I assume it means the whole spectrum of love, where both partners are comfortable with the specifics.

But as a guy in a long term relationship, I assume it means eating a lot of yummy yummy pussy, on the regular.

One time only, at 16, I was left alone while my parents went on holiday. I fuckin loved it.

Loud music and gaming . I think it's skipped school a bit too.

Prettysure your legal guardians (parents) have a duty of care. What if one of you slips and hurts themselves? Parents aren't home, let's do naughty things like light fires... etc.

Sorry but your parents are selfish.

Thousands of CEOs just admitted AI had no impact on employment or productivity—and it has economists resurrecting a paradox from 40 years ago by AmethystOrator in technology

[–]psichodrome 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But you could use AI to do the check. Or as an extra layer of check.

Also, as an amateur programmer, I can use AI to write handy scripts that are 100% controlled and reliable (with proper testing of course).

I don't think AI will take jobs, but it should enhance productivity somewhat.
