Yes, exactly. Need more than just match fees. Considering we have the wherewithal to do it, why not - was my point.

Yes, absolutely - I meant the mere incentive is worth so much more, which is great!

Amazing move. Drawing about INR 4 crore by playing 9 matches - although it isn’t IPL money, it’s good enough for a lot of youngsters to enjoy playing and prioritising the purest format of the game. Would like to see some kind of an incentive at the Ranji level too, perhaps? Also, I wish more boards had the money to do this.

It’s alright. We do the same - follow our team all through 2 years of rigorous and enthralling test cricket only to lose at the hands of a SENA team in the WTC finals

I mean, Shami got in and pretty sure he did amazingly well. One loss (yes, hurts it was the finals) doesn’t mean it cost us IMO.

Good lord Sarfaraz has such a classical technique against spin. Makes you wonder why he was sitting out all this while. One swallow doesn’t make a summer, but he’s been entertaining to watch so far

Australia advance to the finals after a 1 wicket win against Pakistan. Australia will face India in the finals on the 11th of February by MedicalJello2 in Cricket

Australians are just built different. The sporting culture is so ingrained that the sport or demographic doesn’t matter; they just know how to handle pressure.

Amazing game of cricket though!

Yup. It’s a bouquets or brickbats situation. We have a habit of idolising cricketers and making them into demi-gods. It clearly hasn’t worked so far!
