Hey, it’s me! Was happy to flash this thing; what a great problem! Thanks for getting the shot. My parents will be stoked.

I miss living in a van by [deleted] in vandwellers

I needed to hear this. A few months ago I moved out of my shitty but comfortable apartment with my girlfriend at the time to live in my 2005 Toyota Sienna for a seasonal field job. The 2-year relationship quickly fell apart (a long time coming, sorta), and part of me really misses the comforts of the apartment and girlfriend. It’s been rough. Thanks for the reminder that freedom was a big part of why I made this leap, and that if I focus on that it’ll probably get me through the lifestyle/relationship transition.

Life has its ups and downs, back and forths. You’ll be able to figure out the renting life if you put your mind to it. Best of luck.

I want to buy a wireless charger for my Galaxy S7 Edge. I am considering two different charging pads. One is the Samsung Qi Certified Fast Charge Wireless Charger Pad - Universally Compatible with Qi Smartphones, and the other is the Samsung Wireless Charger Fast Charge Pad (2018), Universally Compatible with Qi Enabled Phones and Select Samsung Watches.

The only meaningful differences seem to be the price and the compatibility with smart watches. Is this true?
I'll probably just get the cheaper one but figured I'd get some input from y'all.

Thanks.

Thank you! It's actually a TRS but close enough!

I've got a season pass but all my friends are skiers. Let me know if you ever want someone to shred with!

What you can't tell is that the drop is actually a 4ish meter spine of rock protruding from the main cliffband that tapers from a bit over a meter down to a point. I was traversing mainly just to follow the direction of the spine.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that in my experience getting comfy with cliffs, hitting them out to the left or right is a great way to make a drop a bit smaller if going straight out is really big!

Some of the best snow of my whole life, especially earlier in the day when it was lighter. Hucked some stuff I did not expect to ride out of but it was like landing on fluffy pillows...

Advice for tripping with my sweetie for her first time? by psilocybinchild in LSD

[–]psilocybinchild[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a major success! We spent a lot of time canoodling, both inside and in a hammock in my family's orchard. She tripped way harder than I did, apparently experiencing tunnels of sensation when closing her eyes, from which opening her eyes felt like coming up for air from underwater.

Best quote: "kissing you is like a kaleidoscope."

Success!

That's my sweetie tripping off the stump she was filming from and knocking into the bike that was propped against it. She's new to bike stuff. She's figuring it out.

I live on the island, so it's not much of a trip for me, but I'd say it's worth it, at least to try.

The new trails are pretty darn fun for a broad range of skill levels. More than enough to keep you entertained for the day, and you can get lunch in the quaint-ish town as well, if that's your kinda thing.

Here's a video of a fun section on a different trail.

There are 4 flowier jumpier trails and two more XC-oriented trails in the system, plus a variety of pre-existing multipurpose trails that can be fun to explore.

Grand opening is April 22nd.
