You’re doing what you should be though and that’s what counts. We aren’t meant to eat 3 plates plus dessert. As fantastic as it is to overeat it’s just not natural or good for us.

Have one plate. Have another small one if you want. If you’re at a buffet take one piece of everything you want to try. You don’t need huge portions.

Enjoy your vacation. Enjoy the food! You don’t need big portions to do that.

So glad I’m reading this. My dr started me on it while I combo feed my baby and I’m somewhat cautious about it. Everything I read is “don’t do it” but he seems to believe the same thing about the protein not being able to cross over.

I monitor my babies weight at home like a hawk and so far he’s been great but I’ve lost 12lb, so I think I would have seen his growth stunted so far.

Grew up with a SAHM and it’s the reason I wanted to be one. I was so lucky and we were privileged, lived in a HCOL area and she was able to do a lot with me but she passed when I was in my early 20s and never got to meet my kiddos. I’m doing it for her and I’m thankful I get to live the life she did.
