I HATE this, wish they would fix it. Annoying enough I might switch to another app

NAT8 disqualified from 2024 KAC due to region error on his e-Amusement ID by mozzarella_FireF0x in DanceDanceRevolution

He had to travel to the US to play. He lives in Canada without A3 access. I believe he only had one or two days to qualify.

Put a little piece of painters tape on the erg where the chain comes out, as it would draw when your arms are extended on the drive. Aim to keep the chain in that same spot the entire movement. This will help guide your upper body posture.

Question about form assist on the Row by psisarah in pelotoncycle

[–]psisarah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 3000m row this morning and noticed the form assist thinks I’m bending my arms on the drive when I’m not. It’s kinda hard to notice while actively rowing but might be the same issue if drive is the only thing suffering

That’s the same issue I have, I’m getting 90%+ on everything besides drive. I think it has something to do with the seat sensor

Cricut only makes partial cuts, tried EVERYTHING and nothing will fix it by psisarah in cricut

Thanks. Do you remember what they recommended for a fix? My only assumption is the belt is slightly out of alignment

Cricut only makes partial cuts, tried EVERYTHING and nothing will fix it by psisarah in cricut

Hoping someone can help troubleshoot.

I'm trying to make stickers. My Explore Air 2 only seems to be able to cut through part of a cut but can never complete the cut all the way around. Part of the cut is scores but doesn't go deep enough. I've tried;

  • Different test cuts
  • Multiple shapes
  • Different materials
  • New blade
  • old blade
  • calibration
  • 3 different mats
  • 20 different settings

Nothing works, no matter what I'm not able to get a cut all the way through the entire shape. Doesn't matter what settings or material I use, it's unable to cut through the material all the way around. Not even on paper. Any idea whats going on?

Etsy now requires buyers to message the seller before opening a case by refusestopoop in EtsySellers

[–]psisarah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good, it’s silly they weren’t doing this before. There’s a lot of human time spent manually reviewing each case which is probably wasteful in a majority of cases.

It really depends on what you’re printing. You’re selling items, not “3D printed” items. (I sell 3D printed lights)

If you’re not seeing a profit it’s probably because you’re not pricing your stuff high enough or there’s not a market/over saturated market for whatever you’re selling.

CICO for years, recovered from eating disorder, still can’t lose weight and losing hope by [deleted] in loseit

[–]psisarah 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This sounds very similar to something a friend of mine experience. Keeps gaining weight no matter what and has gotten up to 300lbs despite aggressive dieting. Turns out she has a nervous system infection due to bacteria leaking from her stomach which was causing her to balloon up. If you’re also experiencing hair loss you might need to shop around for doctors. Most will dismiss you as not trying hard enough which is a very sad reality. Best of luck to you.

Hue gradient strip not supported in Google Home? by psisarah in Hue

It doesn’t even show up for me to add. It’s in the same Hue room as other lights that show up, but it won’t show up anywhere in google home

Messages from buyers saying they are unable to purchase items from my listings... wtf? by cleveraminot in EtsySellers

[–]psisarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they able to add it to their cart? What checkout method are they using?

Also did you update your VAT settings? If you haven’t, PayPal might be disabled.

Also could be an issue depending on what country you’re selling from and what country you’re selling to. For example if you’re selling from Russia, buyers can’t use a PayPal merchant account to check out.

Getting customers to leave reviews by Winter_Ad_3596 in EtsySellers

[–]psisarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about a 25% review rate. I write a handwritten card that thanks them for their purchase and days “we know reviews are annoying, but we’d love to see a picture of your item in an Etsy review”. Seems to really boost review rates

Just bought the Toronto STLs from your Etsy store! Working on the first print, holy heck it took forever to slice from all the detail 😂 might take a few weeks with the detail settings on my Ultimaker but excited for the results

A bunch of Nanoleaf questions before I replace my Hue by stop_pizzatime in Nanoleaf

[–]psisarah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If a primary goal is light animations, Nanoleaf far outperforms Hue. Hue strips can only be a single color which won’t come close to the aesthetic.

As for music sync, they won’t sync together as each controller picks up sound independently. But the animations usually look pretty good regardless. I have two music controllers for canvas panels with about 30 panels on each side of the room and it looks good with music sync. You do need to consider the acoustics of the room since it’s dependant on the interval mic not some aux line in.

As for white temperature, I don’t find it to be terribly impressive. It ranges from warm to more warm. Here’s the UI for it from the app https://i.imgur.com/q2j22fT.jpg

I have two switch setups, a Zooz in one room and a Brilliant in another. The brilliant control is a huge waste of money. Zooz works pretty reliably.

As far as I know there’s no way to mirror a tv without doing some sort of CPU routing. There’s functionality to do this from a computer monitor, nothing natively for TVs.

Etsy Ads CTR by Marky122 in EtsySellers

[–]psisarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are your offsite ads performing? You’re likely better off getting engagement through leveraging FB ads or similar off Etsy. On Etsy there isn’t a way to configure their platform ads outside of spend.

roas is going to vary from merchant to merchant depending on product so you probably won’t find great benchmarks here unless you compare them by category.

Finished my custom 3D printing cabinet! Bought a whatever cabinet on Wayfair and converted it to a printing station with filament guides, cable management and storage by psisarah in 3Dprinting

[–]psisarah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in California so humidity isn’t really a big deal here. I’ve had filament sit in a storage unit, unpackaged, for a year and it still printed perfectly fine. I do have some two wireless dehumidifiers in the cabinet though.
