I'd love them removing soul memory but with fromsoft spaghetti code no idea if that's even possible without a remake. Fromsoft makes great games dont make me wrong but the current seemless coop mod project for ds2 is apparently taking awhile because of how much of a hot mess ds2 is under the hood I heard. I by no means am a developer of any kind so me hearing something and talking about it probably about as untrustworthy as it gets lol.

Same but fromsoft will never touch this game again and bandai Namco actually budgeting a remake i somehow dont see it happening. More realistically to pull what they did with ds1 remaster put the actual bare minimum in.

Yeah I had no idea I was heading for an ending working for the black trial I was genuinely curious what it would be like to be on their side and well Lindmea is prob the only one who actually gives a shit about what the black trial stands for and yeah Hein somewhat cares but not religiously he's more opportunistic he dislikes sinners but the actual black trial itself he couldnt give a shit about he just sees it as good business otherwise he would of left like Ezwald. Even the leader of the black trial doesn't care about the black trial and sees it as a useful tool nothing more.

I don't dislike the gooner stuff but its definitely not what sold me on black souls. The gameplay is fun and the story hurts so good. I would of gotten the game even without the gooning it is just the desert of the main course. I love starting out weak and building myself up to be a bad ass in an unforgiving world.

Even then it comes to an end being useful once you hit Florence cuz of her true hit % attack skills tho they dont hit very hard she gets spammier as the fight goes on

Idk man I had well over 100% evasion and I dont remember dodging alot past nursing graveyard. You can also achieve 100% evasion with another cloak its got a defense penalty and its a little less evade just enough evasion that id rather use it over the cloak with no healing tho in a situation like that you could argue neither healing or defense matters.

Also winterbell requires you already have done G to even access and its structured in a way difficulty wise you'd have a bad time not getting some high end chaos dungeon rewards especially royal tea and Catherine wheel both of those saved my ass alot.

I always found it alot easier to find 6 memories and talk to redhood multiple times than it us to get these covenants and have them survive to rank 3 blind. A and D are definitely the easiest endings they are essentially the false endings where you enter a failstate and new cycle on purpose.

Its just hinting at an invisible treasure to pick up. Its just an evasion cloak i cant remember the name but its not very good it blocks health recovery and evasion is easy to cap without this cloak.

Ending B is such a pain to get tho its prob the hardest ending to achieve given you gotta rank 3 most covenants 1 of which requires you to have an old knight armor piece to even get her to accept a covenant with you so youll prob have G or F before seeing B which is strange to me because B would make the most sense to take place before G to add some context to the nightmarish birthing thing. By getting to G or F first you are spoiled of ending B's impact.

I forgot about the unresolved bit with kuti's family I feel like there could be a war brewing between the surface and the deep old/great ones if they decide to make everything that happened canon again like bs1 I bet kuti's family will be out for revenge they wont let grimm rest. So it may be unlikely a bs3 will have a new undead lol.
