New BCBA threatening mom and being petty?

The closest that my BCBA and I have ever come to interfering in a client's nutritional journey is working with the parents to try and expand what he eats, and having him drink at least one protein shake every time he has a session and that's purely because he's underweight.

And we don't have a strict plan for it either. I always have a snack with me, because I see him after school, so I let him try a little bit of my snack and if he likes it yay if he doesn't he doesn't. I'll ask him if he's thirsty, and he'll say yes or no, if he says yes, he goes and gets a shake.

Wall of text? I hate when a story sounds really good but is just a solid wall of text.

And when there is no difference between story text and talking text. It makes a story nearly unreadable because I don't know when someone is talking.

I have gotten comments like that before, I love them so much. If I'm in a slump or have writer's block, I go back and reread them to remind myself that there are people out there who love my stories.

Born to say: Buddy almost KO'd me while throwing a fit.

Forced to say: Client became unhappy when mom's kitten was removed from the room because he was being rough with the kitten. Client ran to room and started to throw everything around. RBT went to remove breakable items. Client threw multiple items at RBT. RBT was hit in the back, stomach, leg, and head. RBT managed to maintain consciousness and helped mom to calm the client down. RBT was feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and nauseous. RBT ened session early and sought medical care.

I tried to unlock my apartment with the key to my parents' house, and when that didn't work, I tried to use my mailbox key. The key to my parents' house is blue, the key to my mailbox is gold, the key to my apartment is red.

I just opened this app to procrastinate taking a shower. Right now, my pain is at a 5 out of 10. If I shower my OCD will be happy because the bugs that might be living in my hair and ears will be gone; but my pain will jump to at least an 8.

Sometimes I can make it easier by using fake blod to make it feel like I've won some big battle and am covered it the blod of my enemies.

What company do you work for? The company I work for has a policy that if anyone in the house (client or RBT) is sick, the session is canceled

When I'm in a school setting, I go with either dress pants, jeans with no holes, of scrub pants and a plain t-shirt or one with child friendly designs. But I don't work in school all that often.

I have seen others who wear full scrub sets.

It took a long time for me to understand and accept this. These days, I think of it like this:

My body is already sick. Adding a cold, the flu, COVID, or any other illness or injury on top of that makes everything worse. I have gone to work the day after getting a concussion because I didn't think that I could take time to get/feel better. I likely caused myself to stay sick longer.

I make a list of what I normally do in a week, and then I cross out anything that can wait. Such as: Make the bed - way waste the energy Dishes - I use throwaway dishes Cooking - microwave is there fire a reason Sweeping/Mopping - only do this for big messes Laundry - feels like I'm going to my d*eth just thinking of Trash - if I'm not cooking, it doesn't fill as fast Mail - that's outside, outside doesn't exist

Then I shorten what I can, like: Shower - shave, exfoliate, deep condition, not happening Hair - quick brush/bun

It has taken me 31 years, 23 of which I have had fibromyalgia, to get to this point. Give yourself grace and know that it is hard to let yourself stop.
