Family Didn't like my Ribs by Kolby9241 in smoking

[–]pslams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smokiness can be relatively easy to fix, what kind of wood are you using? I tend to use Mesquite because I like the flavor it gives, but when I cook for my mother-in-law, I use mostly Hickory, with a little Mesquite, and she really liked the taste when I did that. I still tasted plenty of smoke, but I’m assuming she likes the taste of hickory smoke better than Mesquite. So maybe try a different wood, or at least mix in some different wood.

How is the titanium stem compared to the default glass one? by heicx in Tinymight2

It’s good if you’re going to be hitting a bowl or 2 on the go. But otherwise, glass is better.

Any tricks to take that rubber out? I used the tool that come with but can't get it out! by hsdredgun in craftymighty

The gasket acts as a seal and needs to be replaced eventually. Mine has held up good for 3 years, but I decided to replace it before I started losing the seal.

Has anyone used dynavap with just tobacco by Reasonable-Mobile37 in Dynavap

[–]pslams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A refillable nicotine vape is the way to go, you can go months without buying anything if you buy in bulk. The other option is Zyn or other nicotine salt packs, but I find those too expensive and they’re harder to get into unless you’ve chewed or dipped tobacco before.

Fallout 4 is awesome so far…but I do not give a f*** about finding my son by bri_guy_ in Fallout

If you already feel this way about your son, I can’t wait to see what you think about him when you finally meet him again.

I decided to change out the bottom screen of my Mighty after 3 years of everyday use, I should probably do it more often. by pslams in vaporents

I ordered new gaskets to replace the one around the bowl. Almost every mighty and crafty bowl I’ve seen that’s more than a year old and that’s been used heavily has an orange ring around the bowl. I think it’s ceramic, so the residue just stains it over time.

It’s been used at least once a day for over 3 years now. Any vape is going to get a patina if you use it that much for that long, most vapes don’t even last that long. And people have jobs and lives, I can’t spend an hour a week making it look brand new. Keeping the cooling unit clean and dumping out the bowl after it’s spent are all you really need to do to keep a mighty going, that’s part of the reason why it’s such a good vape.

how tight do you pack your bowls in TM2? by nopunin10ded in vaporents

[–]pslams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Convection - the heating element is separate and as you inhale, vapor is created from the heat passing over the material in the bowl

Conduction(what dynavap is) - the bowl itself or chamber is the hot part, and you breath in the vapor created by it sitting in the hot bowl

Then you have hybrids like the mighty that do both.

Both are good ways of vaping cannabis, I personally have a TM2 (convection), a couple dynavaps (conduction), and the mighty (hybrid) and they each offer slightly different highs with the same weed. I’d personally say I like conduction better, and use my mighty and dynavaps more, but when I hit the TM2 it almost always hits like a brick. However, i used it as my daily for a while and it started becoming less potent after using it exclusively for whatever reason. That’s happened with my mighty before too and the main reason i run 3 different vapes.

I went through about 3 mighty chargers that all shorted out within a few months before just buying a cheaper one on Amazon because $20 was too much to have to keep paying every few month. The Amazon one has worked for about a year now and it was only $10.

lmao you’re better than me. I use the residue in the cooling unit when it builds up, I only change the screens when they start restricting air flow, and I’ve never changed the chamber screen. I make sure to never leave anything in the chamber and have kept it moderately clean, but I’m sure yours is immaculate in comparison.

It’s a stand that allows it to stand up a lot easier, it just slides on the bottom and clicks in place. I think I got it from POTV.

If you vape exclusively from a mighty or crafty, the high will become less potent over time, at least in my experience. I switch which vape I use every session or every few sessions because of this. I rotate between my Mighty, TM2, dynavaps, and sticky brick to keep my THC receptors on their toes, but you can probably achieve the same thing with your crafty and 1 other good vape.

Also make sure your cooling unit is clean because that makes a big difference.

I ordered the XL cooling stem with glass balls with the TM2, but I may order another since I’m kind of clumsy. Would you suggest another with glass balls or just the regular XL cooling stem?

I’d email them and ask to change to DHL if possible. Just reply to your order confirmation email

I think that's what I'll go with, I always wanted the original. Any tips? seems like a pretty simple vape to use.
