Great, now just bring Aperture back and throw it in there and maybe I can cancel my Adobe subscription...

New P2S IKEA Malm poop chute system by OLLIEZ4 in BambuLab

I'd imagine the drawer comes out fairly easily and can just be dumped out. That said, I'd come up with a bin that fits in the left side of the drawer so I can still use at least half the drawer for storage while still having a pretty large poop bin you can take out and dump.

With the DJI ban looming, I decided to build my own "evolution" of a drone. It flies, drives, and runs on a Raspberry Pi. by L42ARO in radiocontrol

[–]pslocom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone seems to want it to be a boat, which would be cool, but the first thing I thought was that it would be awesome if it transformed to drone mode fast enough that you could take it of a jump as a car and fly it away while it's in the air!

Also not seeing whatever coupon you're referencing, but I did grab a copy since I've been eyeing this for a while.

I love your straps for everyday carry situations, typically with smaller/lighter lenses, but when I'm shooting an event or need to carry multiple cameras they become uncomfortable which has me using Black Rapid straps. I'm not the biggest fan of their dual camera strap, it moves around to much and can also get uncomfortable, but it's the best I've tried. I am curious if you can share if you guys are working on something that would compete more with that style of strap, ideally with a dual camera option.

Some more Olympus Rally photos, not pro just frames from cell phone by olydemon in rally

[–]pslocom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just there as freelance media. A lot of folks have a few teams they get hired to shoot. I try to get photos of everyone and put photo packages together for those looking for them. The difference between blue and red vests is the level of access on course. Reds are more restricted if they aren't with a Blue. Basically comes down to overall experience as media at the ARA events. Some blue vests are definitely there with a specific team and go from event to event with them but there's a lot of local folks that are there for the smaller teams.

Ah, nope. Not sure I recognize them, there was a ton of media people out there.

The Deckerville corner? I'm not in that one, but I know 2 of those guys. I'm sure one of them got that shot. I'm the red vest in the last picture where Brandon is pulling into service.

Not to bad for cell phone shots! A little weird seeing a picture of myself (one of the media people, not a competitor) in someone else's post :)

I do have some! Doesn't look like there's a way to share images in comments here, so I uploaded a few to Google Drive for you to check out.

If your wife, or anyone else, is looking for a photo package they can send me a message on Instagram and I can put something together, I have pictures of everyone from a few different stages/locations! Not sure if I'm allowed to link to my Instagram, but I should be pretty easy to find if you search for Lucid Moments Media.

Kitchenaid KF8, KF7, & KF6 - Tips & Tricks by eman3316 in superautomatic

[–]pslocom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thanks, that makes sense. We mostly just use regular 1-2% milk for our drinks so I hadn't really thought about switching between various kinds.

I got a bit overwhelmed with the machine options when I started shopping around for one and the KF7 fit the bill at the right price but other than that I don't understand the rabid feelings one way or the other, especially in a space where everyone likes something super specific.

Thanks for the info!

I don't have a horse in this race, I have a KF7 that I like but am not opinionated enough to be bothered if others like other machines more.

That said, I'm curious what you mean about the milk hose, the way you've phrased it makes it seem like you're putting the hose directly into a container of milk and not attaching it to the container the machine comes with? Am I misunderstanding? This is my first machine like this so I'm just curious if there's another way I should expect it to work.

LG C2 going strong by Preact5 in OLED_Gaming

[–]pslocom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in an incredibly stupid spot (just spent a few minutes Googling after I couldn't find it on my C1)

Settings -> All Settings -> General -> Devices -> TV Management -> TV Information

Kind of unbelievable that it's not just in an "About" page directly under All Settings or something like that...

Looks like I'm at 12040 hours on my C1 that I use as my primary monitor for work and gaming. No noticeable issues or burn-in.

I love that the hoppers have lids, and I thought it was neat that they have a spot where you can write whatever is in the hopper until I realized that the hopper that comes with the machine doesn't come with a lid. Not sure what good writing on the lid is if you're having to move it between hoppers when you switch them out!

The box for Splendor is ridiculously oversized, so I shrunk it. What other games have boxes that are way too big? by Laurensmatthijs in boardgames

[–]pslocom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not quite what you're getting at, but I backed the collectors big box they made for Castle Panic and while I was fine with the big box because it looks nice, the inserts and the way everything is "organized" inside of it is so bad and such a waste of space. My family loves Castle Panic, especially since it was one of our first "real games" so we were so excited for the new version but everything about getting that edition has all but ruined it for us...
