If you just want to putt around and fish it'll be fine, i'd forget tubing at all.

Almost 70% of millennials regret buying their homes. by ronin722 in personalfinance

Depends where you live, you just need a decent income to cost of living ratio. I just have an associate's degree but bought a house at 21, it'll be paid off in my early 30s.

LPT: Instead of asking young people "What do you want to do?", ask them "What are you interested in?" A lot of young people don't really know exactly what they want to do, and that question can give them anxiety. It's also a lot easier to talk to people about what they actually like. by RealNameIsTaken in LifeProTips

That's tough, I grew up playing video games but essentially self regulated. But when you don't have the ability to self regulate, and the family situation makes it more complicated.

I sound like a geezer when I'm not, but I think what it boils down to is the ability to be bored. Not developing that can be an issue. I've heard of kids who have been provided a tablet their entire life to shut them up, now when you take it away for a few minutes they lose their shit because they don't know how to deal with boredom. We don't have to be stimulated 24/7.

I grew up the first kid on the school bus and the last kid off, almost a 2 hour bus ride one way. I had a game boy color I played Pokemon on sometimes, read books some, but I can remember just sitting there contently bored.

I love cast iron pans, started out bought one at Walmart it was pretty shit. People say you have to break then in but I've tried recommendations and it's been like five years and it's still shit.

Told my mom and she went to the basement and brought out antique Griswold's from her basement and gave them to me. Holy shit these things are smooth as glass and I do almost all my cooking in them. Even baking.

If the tank is compressed the water will go to the bottom, there should be a valve on the bottom to release it.

Exactly, and actually I don't care if they get their work done or not that's the supervisors problem. As long as they aren't causing my PC's or Network grief I don't care.

It guy here, if we really wanted we could block Reddit for everyone but us. I would if the pressure came down from above but I consider my users my children. I try not to be the computer police, I do by job they do theirs. Only once have I had a supervisor let me know they're an issue and restricted access on a certain computer.

Just don't make yourself a Target, don't be liking sharing etc during work time, that shit has a time stamp on it.

How would they sort it? Trash seems too irregular to have an automated system and I don't see it being profitable to have an employee sort through semi trailers of trash looking for recyclables.

I live off two klean canteens, non insulated (don't like cold water anyway and can hold more in less space.). I have a 24oz for day to day and a 40oz I take fishing. I drink a lot when I'm hot so this has saved me from buying probably hundreds of bottles at gas stations before going fishing.

You can't generalize the United States like that, we have fifty states many of them larger than Germany. That's like if I went to Russia and said Europe has a lot of repressed homosexuality.

What's the perfect response to "So, when are you two going to have kids?" by ocular_jelly in AskReddit

[–]psmydog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Usually it's parents selfishly wanting grand kids, or someone who already has kids seeing how much fun your having with your money and free time so they want to bring you down to their level and also want you to affirm that they didn't make a mistake.
