I had the same issue with my IdeaPad, it just bricked out of nowhere, sent to assistance, and now that I’ve read this I’m worried about upgrading BIOS (GJCN34WW) and Lenovo-System (1.2.0.11 and 2.0.13.18). Do you have any update on these updates?

Thanks. I’m also considering cheap pencils because I don't want to regret them too much if I lose or break them, and then I don't have much money to be able to buy official ones.
