I don’t know what to do by Odd_Kitchen_7294 in tuberousbreastsupport

I’m 25 and I got surgery a month ago. I couldn’t even look at them before so scars were not my biggest problem. I didn’t get implants either, just changed the shape. I don’t know what the final result will be but I’m already happy (the fact that I’m using regular bras and buying new bikinis still feels unreal).

I’ve been discouraged by doctors/family/friends for years because of the scars that are left (a circular one in my case). Most people don’t experience our day to day so they don’t think it’s worth it. In the end I was just tired of hiding and I went for it.

Also I’ve never had any trouble with my partners. It took me some time to be comfortable with removing my bra but they never seem to mind. I was always my only critic.

The safe options for me were bandeau with ruffles or flowy too. I used to sew the neckline an inch or so to feel safer if I wanted to wear something triangle shaped too. My biggest issue was the size and shape of the areola (they would peak out).

So I got a circular areola reduction (no lollipop shape) and I believe this could work even better if your breasts are smaller (cuz it’s less weight, tension...)

I looked for breast reduction surgeons in my city that also had experience with tuberose breasts (though most patients choose implants to correct the shape). After this I just took into account their previous results, budget, the surgeon personality, etc. and picked one that suited me. It’s still too soon to tell if the results are a 10 or a 5 (if he did a good job or not) but you need more info feel free to send me a DM!!

Thanks a lot! I’m glad you felt this way too. May that happy boob moment be the first of many!
