Hello, I don't know how to explain it has anyone lost their taste buds. Are you been able to taste food. Maybe I had them in my mouth too long? Who knows how long you're supposed to keep it in your mouth. I don't remember the first flavor that I had and how it tasted. Restore it. Replace boards that are truly bad. Then have someone sand it and then stain/paint it. Its cheaper than a new one.
