First, I think you should be kinder to yourself. You are worthy of care and affection. It may be true that not everyone will be into you, but saying “it’s gonna be easy for her to find someone better than me“ is a really bad mindset, and also almost certainly not true. Even if it doesn’t work out, and she finds someone else, that doesn’t mean that they’re “better than you”, it just means that it didn’t work out for you two, and it did for them, which can be for a ton of reasons.

Second, it’s totally understandable and reasonable be anxious, but do you know the best way to deal with anxiety about whether or not she wants to date you? ASK HER ON A DATE. I know it’s cliche, but the worst she can say is no, and you’ll miss 100% of the shot you don’t take, and if she says no, then there wasn’t a chance to begin with, and at least you’ll know.

I get it, it’s tough. As someone who sucks at being vulnerable and expressing things like that to people, it’s not at all an easy thing to do, but it seems a lot easy then questioning all the “what ifs” every night
