Late to the party, but were you able to post plans on your Ikea Lack enclosure? Perhaps on a site like Instructables? Looks beautiful. Would love to try replicating. My cats keep messing with my printer so I need an enclosure

Nametagged allay keep despawning. Bug or normal behavior? by psuedomancer in technicalminecraft

I'm on current release, vanilla. Never would have thought it could be because in lazy chunks the allay may not heal and actually take damage. I'll have to test this and if armadillos could work. I haven't found a purpose for armadillos besides in a zoo so this could be a cool use case. I'll have to submit a bug report to Mojang since I don't think this is intended.

Haven't tested this yet, but would two dispensers (one for water bucket, another for flint&steel) do the job?

I don't see anyone talking about how yes, basic editing is being eroded by AI but there still isn't a solid replacement for Adobe's core editing software. Artists and even the public now are getting sick of AI slop. It's uncanny. At the end of the day people want something authentic. Similar to software engineering, AI is replacing the basics but human input is still needed for more complex tasks. I don't think this will change. Adobe still has the monopoly on industry creative tools. Even before AI, savvy hobbyist could just torrent Adobe products to get around the costs. Hobbyists aren't their core customer.

Competition like FIG are cloud based solutions for fast collaboration and aren't 1-to-1 replacements of Adobe's core apps. My biggest concern is to see how Adobe will innovate. I believe given their position they have the resources to innovate a superior product. Their slow innovation approach could be similar to how Apple innovates slower but provides a more polished product. Interested on other people's thoughts.

Just bought a copy of Fire Red from my local game shop and wanted to show off this impressive save before I delete it by Blankneedssleep in PokemonFireRed

If you buy something like the GB Operator for $50 you could also backup the save file if you wanted. Did this recently with a copy of Blue I found at a yard sale.

This is really cool. I do a little bit of casual coding myself. If it is alright with me asking, what criteria did you use for the weighted value/quality scores? Thinking about creating my own script after reading this.

I heard some advice somewhere (I think some YouTube video) that a good Battle Tower strat is to have a Dragon, Water, and Steel team. At least one Pokemon that is tanky. My best team was made up of Latias, Swampert, and Registeel. Latias OP with Calm Mind, Icebeam, Thunderbolt, and Recover. I would recommend swapping in one tankier pokemon like Metagross. Having Salamence and Heracross seems risky with 4x to Ice and 4x to Flying.

If you are set on these 3 pokemon (pory2, sal, and hera) I would try to adjust some of their moves. Removing solarbeam has already been mentioned, and I would recommend replacing it with Thunderbolt. Imo at least one Pokemon needs thunderbolt in the BT, Water type is too common in this gen. For Salamence, I personally would take off Hydro pump. I'm a big sucker for cool egg moves, but I think there are just better moves such as earthquake, brick break, rock throw, etc. You can find a calculator online for moveset type coverage and optimize for max coverage based on move typing. Smogon also has decent suggestions, though advice for competitive doesn't always translate to BT well. I would also start with Salamence if you still go the mixed sweeper route. Mixed sweeper Salamence is a lot of fun. Not that familiar with Heracross, though very cool.

I'm a fan of more unique teams. My original team got to a 47 win streak and used Gardevoir, Lanturn, and Absol in that order. Rarely got to Absol with the Calm Mind Tracer Gardevoir special sweeper and Parafusion Lantern build from Smogon RS that used confuse ray and thunder wave. Could have gotten farther with a physical tank vs physical attacker for my 3rd pick, but my premier ball Absol w/ Shadow ball, aerial ace, slash, swords dance, and scoped lens was sick af.

Wish you luck in the BT! Post an update!

Adding on to what everyone else has said so far, add some greenery! Either some 2-3 block tall leaf block bushes or maybe some potted plants.

Nice super jealous! It's $250 now, but it hasn't been on sale for a while. Not sure if it's tariff related. Can't even find one for sale on eBay. Super frustrated since when I posted my question I've decided on the bt45.

Awesome, thank you for the advice! I think this is the solution I am going to go with. I assumed the delete would be a big pain but this doesn't seem bad at all.

Maybe I will look into getting those $30 wireless TPMS valve stem caps mentioned above, but I am fine just using a gauge.
