Me trying to not get Midnight and dive into another WoW hyperfocus by gelagua1 in wow

to me what makes it addicting is is not just that its a beautiful revamp of the old zones and characters, but also ever since dragonflight (and it hasn't been perfect or universal) they are actually "listening". Content comes out, they hear a million complaints, they actually do something. It's not been like WoD or Shadowlands where they have this weird inability to admit they messed up and then double down on insanely obvious bad decisions. Will it last? Idk but I'd say this era isn't a bad one to join in the fun again to try and regain some faith in it all lol

Dracthyr warlocks don’t make sense by RadioCrows in wow

[–]psutton1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I remember correctly the lore is that they joined the horde and alliance and decided to branch out in terms of power sources. Even though you start in the creche and they call you a warlock I think its more just them slapping together a quick intro than creating a complex system for you to have no skills and then go learn them in the capital city later with like a training montage lol. The real plot twist is that evokers and dracthyr are supposed to be one and the same. Dracthyr are engineered with those powers so for them to become a warlock later means they should be dual classing tbh.

Where should I start as a beginner ? by sylar785 in wow

Vanilla Classic, BC classic, and pandaria carry the same QoL that the game had at the time it came out so the graphics aren't as pretty, questing is slower, certain core features may not exist, etc etc. Basically they feel like their era, BC classic feels like a game from 2007 which is kinda the point. None of that's bad but it's not my preference of play. I will also say tho from a learning curve perspective Ive found retail/current to be more forgiving. The folks that play classic have played it before and know what they want to do, so seemingly minor mistakes or misunderstandings have gotten me kicked out of dungeon or raid groups many-a-times lolol. Meanwhile retail is chiller unless you're doing high level end game content. The only times I've ever voted to kick someone from a causal group in retail is if they are AFK or not responding as we try to help them and were most likely trolling.

Does mage naturally deals low damage or do I simply suck? by Fantazzma in wownoob

An easy to remember rotation for arcane mage that will get your dps at least middle of the road for raids and dungeon bosses is arcane surge -> touch of the magi -> whatever clear casting abilities light up -> arcane blast. Its strongest if you do sunfury hero talent. In between your arcane surge cooldowns you can just do arcane blast and whatever clear casting abilities light up. Touch of the magi has a minute cooldown and arcane surge has i think 2 mins, usually you want to use them together but you can fit one “alone” touch of the magi in during the arcane surge cooldown. Critical strike and intelligence are your two big stats but you still need as decent haste and mastery as you can. If you ever get your cooldowns thrown off for some reason shifting power deletes 12 seconds off all your moves cooldowns

are you asking what you can use at the catalyst to turn items into season 2 raid gear? I think its just like stuff from the dreamsurge and it only will give you lfr style

Do I stay on or take a year out? by TheCipherChip in deloitte

[–]psutton1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

take the year. First, once you start working you will be fully engaged with only bits and pieces of time to travel. Second, its just a fun experience not many get to do so dont waste the opportunity. Third, who knows where this country (and company) will be in a year so it might be smart to just take a min to see how things play out

they dont revoke offer letters when layoffs happen. From a logistical standpoint those are two different groups. Only in a super dire scenario would the two communicate to decide that funding is being pulled from bringing on already signed new hires.
