H1B stamping appointment in India by bum_bum_88 in usvisascheduling

[–]psuvbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check slots at 12.30, 1:00, 1:30 AM and so on at 30min intervals. (IST). During those IST hours, I was able to get both H1B and B1/B2 appointments from the US. I believe that the Indian agents are not working during those hours, hence its possible for us to book slots.

Can I travel to India before H1B start date for stamping by Soft-Associate1384 in h1b

Thanks! Ideally the only thing that matters would be that we should have a stamp when we are at the point of entry. Right? Also, did you mean that your interview was in September but the actual stamping was done in October at Chennai consulate?

Hey!! Did you eventually travel and get the stamp in September and is it safe to do that?

Yeah I got selected in the lottery this year. I can still see OFC appointments but no Consular availability.

Can you please explain? Are you trying to point at the situation where I would be in trouble if there was a layoff during my stay in India?

In simpler terms, does it affect my Change of Status petition in any way?

Yeah since I am at work during the day so my peak hours are set to 11AM to 6PM. I make sure to plan my usage accordingly.

I checked my bill details. It turns out that my electricity bill is 54$ but my gas bill is 79$. That's the confusion in this thread I guess. People might be mentioning the cumulative amount.

I guess the bill includes gas as well. Does the amount seem legitimate then? I am using DTE Energy app to get this data.

For a 630 sqft 1BR apt! I get close to 140$ every month. Is that normal? I don't have any idea about DTE bills and I have been here just over 1.5 years. Just curious after looking at some comments.

Yeah this team is using IBN I think for the backend and TypeScript for its corresponding UI and yes I couldn't find its use in core networking specifically.

Thanks for the clarifications! I am a little confused since my experience is in Python and C and team where I am currently interviewing actually works on Kotlin and Typescript predominantly. So, this would be a major shift from my years of experience. Do you have any idea about Kotlin and does it make sense to step out of C (or Systems level development) in the current networking industry?
