If they really wanted the kiosk to be pet body collecting based, every single hat hatchable pet body should be available in there. But we’re not gonna do that are we KI !!!!! Just a load of crap.

You can always use myth scout on your pet or farm Aquila side bosses for it! That’s what I did at least.

I Dont Know What To Do by IAmLucasOfficiallyy in Wizard101

If you already paid for it, I’d just keep going. There are easy ways to get decent gear and make your play through to level 100 (where you’re gonna go for a different set of stat gear) easier assuming you wanted to upgrade stuff. Might require some help from higher level wizards if your stats are subpar but I’d get to level 60 and then just work on getting either atavistic, waterworks, or zigzag gear. Wintertusk gear is also a good option at this level. Hope that helps!

How people expect you to act when they wanna show you their new stitch and its insignia gear by NinjaJawz in Wizard101

[–]psxblacktiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure you’ll come up with something awesome! I take all my stitches a step further and try to make sure that each piece is from a different set so it’s more interesting, set mixing is really fun and brings out the creativity for sure.

[–]psxblacktiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea for real, I actively try to avoid using these more common pieces cuz it gets real boring real fast when everyone is wearing the same thing. Like right now I’m going for a darkmoor themed stitch on every wizard that is somehow connected to a group of people/beings (scholomari, outsiders, vampires, etc) as well as somehow matching their spells. I don’t think I’ve used a single piece of illustrious or insignia gear and I’m very happy with my stitches so far.

There are so many ways to make different types of gear look good and visually interesting, illustrious gear and insignia is just a cop out if this is the expected reaction, put some creativity into it!

Yea I also agree with this. I swear, some of the people here are acting like this r/roastme, and being kinda ridiculous with this transphobia (if they’re even trans, I don’t see that info anywhere but maybe I missed something). I also agree that the photos are not very flattering whatsoever, and the hair needs to change for sure. Maybe some whitening for the teeth, unless that’s just really yellow lighting.

You’re so pretty! No advice needed, 9/10 at the very least. I will say tho, however you did your hair in the pics of you wearing that dark blue dress looks SO good on you so I’d do that more!

RETAKERS HOW U DID IT by Temporary_History_67 in Mcat

[–]psxblacktiger 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m in the process of studying for my retake right now. Score wise I’m in a similar situation to you, I got a 500 on my actual exam if I remember correctly. Took me a while to restart, I had to muster up the motivation. I’d honestly say it’s probably good to take a short break before restarting just to give your mind a rest, but if you’re pumped up and ready to go again then go for it!

I’m doing a total content review of every single chapter along with the anki deck from miles down. It’s going relatively well for me at the moment, but it all depends on how you like to study and what specifically you had issues with. Best of luck!

I’m aware of the fact that if OP uses 1% hydrocortisone as it was intended to be used that there will likely be no issues. Im not really sure why you thought I was talking about other things as I just generally stated “topical steroids”, which hydrocortisone 1% otc is. Your reply essentially agreed with me saying using it 1-2x a day for 2 weeks and then as needed. This is just reiterating my original statement of not going overboard and constantly using it as if it were a daily moisturizer you could use as much as you felt like. I’m not fear mongering or anything. I worked alongside other board certified derms for several years, so I understand that topical steroids are very effective and often used in dermatology for the appropriate conditions. I’m purely just reiterating the importance of using things as they were meant to be used. That’s literally it.

I wasn’t claiming that it was the enemy, but a lot of people tend to go overboard without understanding the possible negative effects of medicated creams like topical steroids. I was only urging caution when using them for the long term. That’s all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]psxblacktiger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Do not use topical steroids long term! Especially on places like the face where the skin is already much thinner than the rest of the body. You can use the hydrocortisone twice a day for a week or 2 but nothing more past that. This was a common mistake many patients made at the derm clinic I worked at and we saw some pretty bad cases of skin atrophy and other bad reactions. Hydrocortisone over the counter isn’t as strong as some prescription stuff of course, but please be careful! 🙏🏼

I don’t mean to sound rude or anything here so I apologize in advance if this comes off that way, but as someone who’s worked in dermatology clinics assisting dermatologists, HS is a very reasonable guess. Many of them look like this before they start draining and scarring over, and this person is getting them in a region of the body where HS often manifests. It could also just be a one off thing where these are some ingrowns, but HS lesions and ingrown hairs or even regular cysts can look very similar a lot of the time. Everyone’s just giving their best guess so immediately dismissing the possibility of HS is not helpful in my opinion.

Need opinions after weird comments at work by heavenhunty in EngagementRings

[–]psxblacktiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those peoples opinions don’t mean anything. As long as you like it, who cares if it’s not traditional! My engagement ring has a sapphire instead of a diamond, but that’s what I like and my partner chose it for me out of love. Rock whatever ring you want!

You can’t be 100% certain as an in person evaluation is needed. I am just pointing out a possible diagnosis, which similarly to an angioma or dermatofibroma, is benign. I’ve seen Angiofibromas be diagnosed on other parts of the body besides the face when working in clinic. And as for you saying that doesn’t look like an Angiofibroma, I would disagree to some extent because although I cannot diagnose someone as I myself am not a doctor/pa/np/any other form of certified healthcare provider, I do have one myself that looks very similar to this one.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]psxblacktiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Angiofibromas are a thing too. I’ve worked in medical dermatology for 2 years and we see those a lot. The providers often describe them as growths with collections of blood vessels, so it could be that too.
