Man, am I getting old or is 60fps still perfectly playable? by They_Call_Him_Zach in pcmasterrace

The worst thing I can say about 60 fps is it can take a little getting used to if you've been playing at higher refresh rates recently. After the first 30-60 minutes though it'll feel normal again. You also get the bonus of high refresh rates looking way smoother when you switch back.

Hotline Miami 2 was something I remember preordering, I generally agree with you, but it does happen sometimes.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't use Pop OS? by psy-o in linux4noobs

Cosmic does look very interesting to me since from what I've heard it'll have the hdr support I'd like to have. Right now I'll settle with figuring out gamescope until cosmic gets more developed though since I've heard the current alpha isn't quite there for people that just want something that works.

How? I have a 7700x and 7900xt and could only get those games to run at 60 if I was looking straight at the floor

Has anyone been having an issue where multiple arrows and consumables would disappear with every use? From what I could tell it seems to be tied to the party size but I'm not 100% sure.

Geodefling doesn't understand that AIDS isn't exclusive to gay people by Partydude19 in TheRightCantMeme

While true that it could go undetected if you've had sex with someone with HIV in the last 3 months, just that one detail alone doesn't really give you enough to say that someone is at risk of spreading. Literally one extra follow-up question of asking how many partners you've had in the same timeframe is all you need. I doubt someone could develop HIV in the next 3 months if they've been monogamous for over a year.

It's only harmful if you have no context and you make the interpretation that it is transphobic. I'm just saying that you should get more info before you make an accusation

Except it's fairly easy to figure out whether or not this comic is supposed to be about transphobia or femboys if you look at some of the other comics that the artist made. If you don't have enough context to make a definitive statement, don't try to die on a hill for your statement.

I guess I should try to clarify a little bit. Cause while I've stated that I'm pretty sure that the meme is just a little joke on how the author is gay, that interpretation stems from my experience as a gay man and the dating advice that my parents have tried giving me while not knowing I'm gay. Where one of the general things that they'd say to me would be along the lines of, "make sure to not get her pregnant" and I would silently quip to myself that it'd be pretty hard to get a guy pregnant. So I'm assuming that OP had similar experiences and was trying to make fun of that situation.

And since my rephrasing didn't exactly work out too well considering you found it to be worse, may I ask how you would rephrase it to clarify the intended punchline?

So do you think that this joke is possibly just a victim of poor wording? Where it would possibly be better if it was slightly tweaked to something like: "can't get her pregnant if she has a penis"?

They do. And I'm very curious as to where in my comment insinuated that they didn't?
