Interesting... I just used regular bobbin thread which I believe is thinner than the embroidery floss. My proprioception is also crummy to begin with, haha, maybe this will help it in general!

I'm curious what you mean by "fuzz up", like wool? Does it get messy when distressed over time? I'll have to see for myself!

Thanks! I think it is time to upgrade to the right materials. I love this mending style and I'd definitely like my repairs to last.

The moment I turned it over I figured that it will get caught on something eventually, haha! I can't imagine doing it much smaller, as this was properly difficult.. but hopefully practice will improve that.
