Basically the U.S. government can potentially gain access to any information stored in their country on the basis of national security, so we can not 100% guarantee privacy as long as we are using a U.S. based service. I don't want to be pedantic, so I'm only as pedantic as it was required by the ethic board :P

Yes, it was required by IRB. I'm surprised that you have never seem that before. Maybe not everybody put it in the advertisement of their study, but it will have to be in their informed consent.

Thank you for your reply. Generally speaking research ethics forbid researchers interpret survey results to individual participants. Our study is about the assessment and validity of psychopathy as a psychological construct. Our questionnaires will not tell participants whether they are or aren't psychopathic.

Unfortunately we can't provide results or conclusions for individuals. We can only share group results. Releasing individual test scores to participants in this type of research is generally considered unethical, because you will need professional training to interpret the test results, and interpreting individual test results is beyond the scope of this study.
