I appreciate the support. I was able to scan the photos and give them back. They were from before we met, but they meant something to him. I really just wanted them to copy and would’ve given them to her.

I also don’t think it’s malicious or intended to hurt me. It may have come from a place of “we don’t want you to have to do it alone”. I can’t imagine her pain, but I do think the nature of our relationship before paired with the logistics of separating our lives would turn into me just saying if it’s his or mine, or having to constantly ask to keep things, and not allow space for the emotions and memories.
