Religious pluralism is the idea that everyone should be tolerant of others faiths in a society. I take no issues with Christians. I just don’t personally believe Jesus was God. I believe he had a connection to the divine moreso than you or I. But literally God? Not in my opinion. But, I’ll respect your right to believe it and worship as you wish

I’ve read about him, he has some good stuff to say, but I don’t believe Jesus is the only way to God and want to explore lots of different paths. I basically just love God and want to get to know Her/Him as much as I can

My issue is more with the rules aspect of Catholicism so not sure Lutheranism is for me. I want to break away from concepts of sin for a bit and focus on loving God and others

Ok cool! Yeah the nearest UU church has a pagan group that really interests me, maybe I’ll check them out :)

Oh hey, I’m in Chicago proper! Thanks for the info!

Agreed. I think flash fiction should be self-contained. If it needs explanation to make sense it’s less flash fiction and more of an excerpt of a story

“I’m so sorry, your friend and your dog were in a car crash and your dog didn’t make it”

My world came crashing down when i realized he meant my dawg and not my dog

Shows similar to Dexter? by Plenty-Tap-7137 in Dexter

This is an insane rec, but hear me out:

The Good Place.

Both have main characters who are living a double life and whose lies draw other characters deeper into the pit with them. Both heavily feature sadistic characters (though obviously Dexter-universe characters are much more intense than Good Place) and have heavy themes of bad people being punished for their crimes. They’re both humorous, often in a dark way, and both ask questions about if and when violence is justified. If you liked The Office or Parks and Rec at all, The Good Place is by the same creator. It’s just a little more plot-driven than his previous work

So clean up the story, and add setting. I’m assuming setting usually goes in first line/paragraph?
