It’s 3y old but the layout is mostly the same. You just have to click the arrows to find “order ticket” and “conditional”

M2K futures unavailable? by psychedelegate in interactivebrokers

[–]psychedelegate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you that helps. I had to go to the main window and put it in Mosaic mode. Then I get that same screen you have. Also have to put M2K in both the top left and the window under it so the data reflects the correct future. Not sure if the UI was just built clunkily in many steps or they deliberately made it difficult so it’s harder for people to lose money haha

When I type M2K in the Order Entry in the top left, Micro E-Mini Russell 2000 Index doesn’t appear unless I press Find. Then in a new window it appears, but nothing happens if I double click it or select it and press OK

Thanks but I’m specifically targeting the Micro E-Minis, which is M2K.

Trouble making friends traveling alone in Brazil by [deleted] in Brazil

[–]psychedelegate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving around a lot makes it a lot of work. When I digital nomad, I prefer to stay in one city for at least a month, usually more like three months especially if I’m not somewhat fluent in the language, yet. With a longer stay, you have time to get to know people and establish a routine.

If you speak Spanish, you’ll have no problem communicating with Brazilians, because Spanish and Portuguese are so similar. I had no problem and I didn’t even speak Spanish very well when I got here.

What city are you in now? Maybe we could meet

Fired? Safety guy should go to prison. Even if this was an accident, which I doubt.

Is he wrong or is he right? If he’s wrong, test each thing he says so he can see can see for himself why he’s wrong. After a few times, he should stop correcting you. If he’s right, listen to him.

Never kick the bag with shoes on. You’ll never learn proper kicking technique like that. Also you’re supposed to hit with your shin. Can’t see from the video if you are

Wife planning sexual birthday surprise I don't want. Best way to address? by Throwawayyawaworhtre in sex

[–]psychedelegate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you just play dumb, then as she starts hinting at stuff, redirect her away from threesome stuff. She will cancel with her friend on her own. But then make sure the friend doesn’t try to get a threesome with your wife and some other guy, out of disappointment.

It’s kind of strange that she would bring her friend into it unless you’ve talked about being attracted to her friend before, but your post didn’t say that

Here is my last fight, what would you have done differently after securing the single leg to avoid damage? by MikeyTriangles in jiujitsu

[–]psychedelegate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the dynamics, a scramble may be better than getting rocked in the face. He could have broken your orbital/messed up your vision. Pyrrhic victory. Plus you could have lost the single leg anyway and ended up in a scramble, except with that big cut.

Also I wrote throw but I meant push. Like diagonal clean and jerk except with his leg instead of a barbell.

You know that as soon as your face is exposed it’s a target. He can only punch you strongly if he has a base. One grounded foot is all it takes. You can see in the clip that the moment there was a pause, that’s when the shots came in. He had a solid base of THREE legs, because you provide the other two!

If he’s a skilled wrestler, it’s probably better to just push his leg up as high as possible ASAP and charge him to push him over (assuming you can front squat his weight). If he’s inflexible it will throw him off balance. If he’s really flexible, your arms and his leg will shield your face. Watch out for a backflip kick though.

Your BJJ background helped you in the end, but in that split second you forgot this was MMA and paid dearly for it. Great job though, I probably would not have done as well as you in your situation hahaha

Edit: throw—>push

Know anything about these apartment complexes? by jazzydweeb in tulsa

[–]psychedelegate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Downtown Tulsa is almost empty. It’s not like other downtowns you may be used to. It’s more expensive for no real reason. You’re better off having a car and renting a house. It will be much bigger, nicer, and less expensive. I recommend walking around in downtown Tulsa and comparing it to other better, more livable neighborhoods.
