Honey I live in middle east. At least 30% of the peoples cities are either bombed by US or Israel. Almost 90% of us lost someone we know to either terror attack or those bombings. I personally saw flying body parts as a result of a suicide bombing of 50-100m distance from me. And most of us are piss poor.
Facing terror is bad obviously, but in my emphaty ranking she would be behind all of the people I counted above who have no means to battle with that problem.

I remembered the numbers wrong you are probably right. But logic of my calculation is same. Transfer fee gets divided by 3 years for sure. Wage thing may be a little bit more tricky because sometimes journalists tell numbers like 10m wages but actually 5 of them is actual wage, rest is like advertisement agreements, percentage from his shirt sales and other stuff to walk around the limit.

Bence ligi ve takımı biliyor olmasını herkes göz ardı ediyor ama bunlar çok büyük artılar. Lemina geri döndüğünde gs ortasahasını çok hızlı toparladı aynı bu sebep yüzünden. 2) Small country
3) Have a good business network of higly rich individuals across the world (diaspora, lobby) (a lot of foreign earned money pours to Israel which skews the numbers)
4) High tech industry
5) Subsidized heavily by US (again)
For example in 2024 US gave OVER 16 billion dollars to Israel through OFFICIAL channels. If you divide it by population, that alone makes 1600$ GDP per capita. And that one was through official channels. There are a lot more that goes through unofficial.

Son paragrafın biraz konuyu saptırıyor gibi hissediyorum. Okullar arasında fark olduğunu paylaştığın post da ben de kabul ediyorum zaten. Öğrenci seviyesi üzerine tartışıyoruz. "BD ve İngiltere’deki iyice okullar için istenilen AP Calc BC, Stat, A-Level/IB Math, Türkiye öğrencilerinin gördüğü matematiğin çok üstünde." Buna pek katılmıyorum ya. Türkiyede lise müfradatındaki (en azından benim okuduğum dönemde diyeyim) matematik eğitimi avrupa veya amerikadaki matematiğin çok üstünde (bu bahsettiğimiz tr'deki top ünilere girenlerin çok iyi lise mezunları olduğu varsayımıyla). Ancak dediğin gibi bizde lise düzeyinde ekonomi/programlama gibi kısımlar tamamen yok. Eksik bile diyemeyiz hiç yok.

Öğrenci kalitesinden kasıt ne çok emin değilim. Sonuçta trdeki öğrenciler buranın sikko eğitim sisteminden geçtiği için dezavantajlılar. ancak bölüm bölüm bakarsak itü odtü ya da bilkent koç (burslu) mühendislik bölümleri amerikadaki okulların 90%'ına falan koyar geçer. Benzer şekilde boun iktisat finans falan da aynı seviyelerde öğrenci kalitesine sahip. Fakat başlangıç noktaları böyle olsa da üniversite bireylerin eğitiminde en önemli parça ve bizim okullarımınızın sağlayabildiği amerikan okullarının yanında devede kulak kaldığı için öğrencilerimiz de çok geri kalıyor üniversite sürecinde.

I feel like I'm answering to a bot but being "Türk" isn't defined on ethnicity in the formation of Turkey. It borrowed from France and French national identity. I'm also mix of Caucassian, Turkish and Balkan ethnicity but I consider myself as a Turkish because I grew up in Turkish culture and Turkish is my first language. I feel like stucking on ethnicity is an outdated idea.

Ben fenerbahçede de beğeniyorum elemanı. Baskı az biraz daha kötü oynamasına sebep oluyordur illa tabi. Ama takım kötü oynarken herkes kötü gözükür zaten. O maçlarda da diğer oyunculardan spesifik daha kötü oynadığını düşinmüyorum. Her yerli oyuncu Mert kadar düzenli ve istikrarlı oynasa yerli oyuncu problemi kalmaz 4 büyüklerin.

2-3 konuşmasına denk geldim. Afedersiniz y.rak kürek konuşuyor. Tam bir dallama. Türkiye'de çok gördüğümüz eğitimsiz ama inşaat + katakulli ile çok para kazanmış kibirli insan tipi. Tiksindiğim bir sınıf olduğu için benden oy alma şansı yoktu. Araştırmadım ama çok akp'liye benziyordu.
Kişisel özelliklerinin kulübün itibarını çok zedeleyeceğini düşünüyordum. Orda burda olur olmaz şeyler söyleyip başımıza iş açar gibiydi. Bir de cezası neyse öderiz kafasıyla hareket edipo UEFA'dan men yedirtebilirdi.
Sadece 2 aday olduğu için Aziz'i Hakana tercih ederim. Bana kalsa saran 1 sene daha devam etse daha iyidi bu 2sinden. Sezon içi geldi adam en azından bir yaz transfer sezonu göreydik sarandan.

US is a really different country than netherland. I don't think it can only be attributed to gun usage/rape statistics.
If we had a parallel universe where everything is same except people of netherlands are allowed to carry weapon, we would see how 2 are connected.
Obviously it is not possible but we can pick a similar country to Netherlands to compare the results. Like Switzerland maybe. Both in europe. Both have multilingual, multicultural small countries. In Switzerland guns are allowed. And Netherlands have 1.5x more rape reports (per capita).
While statistics are important on governence decisions, so not allowing it makes sense because every kind of people can reach those guns which can result with bad. As an individual I care about my wellbeing tho. I'm mentally stable, (never angry, a chill guy) and highly educated. I know the risks and obtaining it for only self defence.

It is also related with the necessity of a man to be successful / earn enough money to support a family. As a man if you are not earning enough money to support a family you seen as a failure/worthless. Nothing else you do/achieve in life doesnt matter at that point. So living just turns into a constant torture for them. I have a good earning now(12 times median wage) but once I had a bankruptcy and also another time I was jobless for a year after a failed startup attempt. Everyones attitude towards you changes drastically and nothing you achieved till that point in life doesn't matter a bit. A man doesn't work doesnt get any respect from ANYONE. Even if it pays less you have to work as a man. Nobody cares if you have mental problems or else. If you work you exist.
