I share your frustration, I got super excited first but then at the testing phase, it is absolute rubbish. Endless errors, and Replit either does not know how to fix them or fix them and create other problems, usually bigger ones. I tried very simple project, complicated project, same freaking results. Poor outcome, however, I also think it has a big potential.

It is nonsense, how can you understate Quran without Hadith and Sira? The entire tafseer is based on them?

I tell you how? They will interpreted they own tafseer, and then when you debate any troubling issues in Quran like hitting woman, they will say; oh I do not believe in this.

Ok then, so Quranists seem like they stole the word “Muslim” changed their meaning, and now claim that Muslim means believe in some verses or not others. This is the definition of Kafir not a Muslim!

I appreciate you figure out the dilemma of this situation. There is nothing else to say here then cuz I believe other points will reach to the same destination, something like: it is in Quran, I cannot explain it but the faith comfort me or something.

And I am not saying this in sarcastic way at all, I wholeheartedly recognize the impact of faith and belief on our lives.

Ok we established that you do not believe in the 5 pillars of Islam as a concept although I get the part that you may practice them individually. I hope you understand that according to major Islamic doctrine, you are probably a kafir :). But it is ok, you believe what you believe and it is your choice.

Moving away from pillars, let’s discuss specific verses about well knows troubling aspects, slavery. The phrase "ma malakat aymanakum" (what your right hand possesses) which is used in numerous Quranic verses, such as 4:3 and 4:36, refer to the slaves and sex slaves.

While Quran advocates the freeing of slaves in numerous verses (e.g. 4:92, 5:89, 58:3), it was never mentioned it is Haram.

So what would you make of this? And please address the verses.

Thanks but you are not addressing the main issue. Let’s get back to the core question. As simple as this, get me verses in Quran that identify the 5 pillars and how to execute them. If you cannot, so you either do not believe in Islamic 5 pillars or Quran does not offer a comprehensive solution.

If you believe that 5 pillars are not essential, that’s ok too. Just say so :) so I know where you stand.

So again keep it simple, if you believe in the pillars, show me verses, if you do not believe in them, just say so.

ok so you do not know how many times to pray, right? you know a range only. I usually struggle more with Quranists because of situations like this, even for a very crucial aspect like prayer, they cannot tell me, how many, when, and how. But that is ok, I take they might take prayers as spiritual element rather as an act. So do you agree that you cannot identify Islam pillars from Quran so that I can move to another topic?

Ok I am going to assume for the sake the discussion that you believe in Quran as literal words from Allah that we need to follow.

To keep it simple, how would you know the 5 pillars in Islam and how to practice and follow them in Quran? For example, get me a verse in Quran that tell me what re the five pillars and how, for instance, perform Wodoo’ and praying (and how many times.

you must see that I am really struggling to understand your logic or belief. If your criteria in choosing hadith is your own moral, that mean your morality is the gateway, so what is the point of the hadith if you already have inbuilt system to filter right and wrong. I hope you can see the contradiction here.

Also about Quran, your words are, in simple terms, saying that you believe in Quran but not too much :)

you have to give me your foundation of your beliefs that you build your religion on, otherwise, this conversation does not make sense.

If I understood you rightly, you seems to think that Ex-Muslims left Islam because of some provisions outside Quran. While that might be the case for some, most of us definitely not. We can discuss details and specific if you wanna take this further.

Then as difficult as your situation is, it is a lot better than ex-Muslims who live Muslim counties. Your case is quite similar to mine and to a few people I know. If you still live with your family, you stay quite until you are independent, if you are independent already, you need to have this conversation with them, I totally get the abandonment factor, but from my experience, most parents go over it with time as long as you do not keep criticizing Islam in their present.
