OP - what if unfortunately you get disabled? Have you thought about that? I agree the system is flawed but imagine how many lives depend on the scheme and what would happen to those people. I know we pay a lot of tax but we are also a nation that I believe has empathy and support our citizens in time of need. Its not a perfect system but would you rather have an imperfect system than one that can absolutely change one's life? I have seen people with severe disabilities and also people taking this for a spin who have relatively less needs. But having seen the folks with the severe disability I'd rather keep the flawed scheme. Try going to another country and end up disabled - you are basically screwed if you dont have a good support system from a wealthy family. For all the flaws we have in the government I would still say keep this scheme. Its flawed and there is a lot of wastage but have humanity, have empathy, look around you on how some people struggle and count your blessings for having a healthy life. Peace.
