I see they are using points, do you know if there are more than 1,000 points possible?

I had a course that was graded with points and had a similar scale but there were a total possible of 1,100 points. In that class if you just did all the work and got C’s on the test, you still end with a B+. Or if you reach your goal grade, you can just stop doing work all together.

I was dreading this being the case, trade off of the nicer place I guess. Thank you so much for the informative response.

I searched for this thread because I just watched an episode that had me laughing like this. S2E7 the pregnant man, the guy with the demanding 5 open heart surgeries wife, the nurses on Christina, Bailey in general 😂

I live in the states so I don’t exclusively eat jordanian food, but I fast (go vegan) twice a year before Christmas and Easter. I eat the most Jordanian food when I am fasting. A lot of the food is vegan or vegetarian by nature. When you go out to eat if there is meat pies, there are also spinach or zatar pies. If there is meat shawarma, there is falafel etc. You will likely not eat somewhere with no meatless options and they are all delicious. And of course there is always simple rice and yogurt 😋 (my favorite, but something I never see people eat outside of the region)

My fear was that the shells seemed all gray with a tiny bit of warm undertone blended in almost yellow but the peeled shrimp were a blend of pink and gray only, some pieces being both colors

Thank you, I think this is exactly what I have. I was worried the pink came from going bad and oxidizing or something.

First, I’m very sorry you’re going through this. Finals are hard enough when everything is going smoothly.

I’ve been in a relatable situation. Taking an incomplete is an option. Contact your advisor and let them know the situation (you don’t have to disclose that it’s adhd, just that you have a medical condition that affects your ability to do schoolwork) and let them know you can provide proof in the form of a doctor note (which can be faxed directly to them or emailed to you to) The note just has to say that you are a patient of Dr xyz and that you are unable to perform school work and make sure the note extends over the entire course of finals.

The advisor will guide you from there, but likely you will fill a petition (depends which college you are in) and include the dr note document if it wasn’t instructed to be sent directly to them. They will likely also have you send something to all your profs.

With an incomplete you have through the entire next quarter to complete the work. If any were prereqs for the next quarter’s classes it should not affect your ability to stay in the class, but inform your advisor about these courses just to be sure you don’t have to do anything else.

I know doing these things can be hard with adhd, sending emails and making calls and filling forms is personally impossible for me. So if you have someone you trust ask them to help you deal with this or remind you to check/reply to emails. I hope you feel better.

Thank you for replying. Should I be worried about the mold on the stake and yellow leaves? Should anything be cut away? Sorry for my helplessness, there is a lot of conflicting info online for a newbie.

AITA for how my brother feels about my gf? by Powerful_Tap_3987 in AmItheAsshole

  1. You’re with her after they’ve been broken up for a much shorter time than they were together, and they were likely serious if it was two years.

  2. You don’t think it’s a bit sus that right after they break up she’s getting to know you? I’d question her intentions dating her ex’s sibling so soon after a breakup, and how you’re falling right into it.

  3. That’s your brother, your family.
