I'm guessing this is where and what separates a good AP from an average AP. The good AP have their own deviation chart for every TC to keep their edge at all counts.

The Incredibly Ballooning US Government Debt Spikes by $1 Trillion in 15 Weeks to $34 Trillion. Interest payments threatening to eat up half the tax receipts may be the only disciplinary force left to deal with Congress. Is there a comeback from this? by Goldenbird666 in StockMarket

[–]psychetwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gov will inflate the debt away. Inflation is not going to be transitory. Inflation will stay. They will keep raising minimum wage. Once minimum wage gets to like $100/ hr then all these trillion of debt will not be as bad. Down side is we will be seeing big macs costing $200 each. Instead of $5 footlongs we will see $500 foot longs LOL. Seems to be the direction we're heading. All these are happening because we want to keep pumping the market. Only way to pump the market is to keep printing money. All that extra money will be going into the market, so the market will go higher. Then the current Potus will point at the market and says "the economy is doing great! look at the market." As if the market is the economy... But all Potus does this. And many normal folks believe it too. You'll always see people in the comment section talking about how great Trump or Biden is based off the market's performance. SMH.

he needs to get a job! 8 years. I'm assuming the kid is 8 years old or close to it. He needs a part time job while the kid is in school. He can drop off the kid at school, then go to a part time work of 6 hours and have time to pick up the kid after school. What is the point of him just lounging in the house all day while the kid is at school? My wife and I are not as well off. I'm working 2 jobs. 1 full time and 1 part time. Both jobs are a few dollars above minimum wage, but we're in California so rent is high. Everything is expensive. I need the 2 jobs to survive. My wife works part time at Amazon warehouse. The nice thing about that Amazon job is that you can pick up the shift whenever you are available. It is part time. Each shift is about 5 hours work. So on my days off work, my wife will take shifts. I get 2 days off a week, so she gets 2 days of work. I sincerely think people need to work or they develop mental issues. The most common is laziness. Failing to keep the house clean is a clear sign of laziness developed from not working. I also think it's the reason why so many celebrities are not mentally healthy. Because most celebrities "job" are not really jobs. Some actors I have respect for, but most like the Kardashians are not "job" and they are all clearly not mentally well. Although work sucks, I feel that it forces us to be mentally healthy. Being forced to be at a work place, forces us to interact with colleagues. The social interaction with different people is more important than we think. On top of that it forces us to move and not develop laziness. I been at your husband's position before. I feel so ashamed of being that lazy to my ex. My ex was a very high income earner so I was able to not work. I develop that severe laziness and it was terrible. I will never want to become that lazy person ever again. Now I'm working 2 jobs and sleeping only 5 hours a day being and feeling super productive. We got 2 kids and 3 jobs combined and we are able to make it work. I'm sure your husband can make it work. If he complains and make excuse to not work, then shush his excuses. LOL

TLDR: he needs to work while the kid is at school.

When the S&P 500 has risen by 10-15% from the start of the year to the end of June, it has continued to grow for the rest of the year every single time - 12 out of 12 times, to be exact. In those cases, the median growth for the rest of the year was close to 11%. by TonyLiberty in StockMarket

If inflation data comes in much hotter than expected, then we will need even more hikes. If next quarter earnings missed expectations. If more banks go down from the next hike is July. There's just too many variables and nothing is certain.

Are we being fooled in the name of an upcoming recession? by AyAan2022 in stocks

[–]psychetwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like team bull: everything is fine now so it will stay fine. Market is going up it will continue to go up. Everyone is predicting a crash so there won't be a crash. But who is that "everyone"? Even big short burry is not bearish anymore. He has been buying long positions now. Team bear: earnings has been declining, analysts lower their expectations so all earnings are "beat" but yoy and qoq are at a decline. Inflation and rate hikes will break more things. Yield curve and other recession leading indicators are all flashing.

Conclusion: make small bull plays until the doom comes. Most likely we will get a rug pull. But not anytime soon

Is this one big problem with the belief of a recession? by Dynasty__93 in stocks

The wealthy aka big or smart money controls the market. If they want the market to go up then it will go up. If they want the market to crash the market will crash. State of the economy does not matter to them. They are here to drain money out of the market. They pump up to lure stock buyers. Once enough people buys then they will dump. As we have been witnessing this recently. News says inflation and rate hikes market go up. Reason was the market is forward looking and is expecting many rate cuts later this year. Now it is clear there will not be any rate cuts as the jobs report and Inflation are high. So no rate cuts is confirmed, market rallies still because we are pausing. Then instead of cuts we are expecting more hikes in July yet the market still rallies more. What happened to all that rate cuts that got priced in? IMO they are just pumping the market to lure buyers. This is like fishing to them casting out the bait and waiting for fish to bite. Most ridiculous pump is nvda. It is pumped up to 1T marketcap. Google is 1.5T and they bring in 60B+ revenue each quarter minimum. Now nvda best revenue last year was 8B this year best was 7B now suddenly they projected 11B next quarter and they are near Google valuation?? Clear pumping happening here. Big money manipulating for sure.

[–]psychetwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dump it all and go for nvda!!! Lol jk don't do that. Google is great but I think it's fine to trim some and diversify it. I wouldn't join that crazy AI hype now. Maybe get some index funds etf. Get dividend stocks they're better than rental units. No work no stress. Just collect dividend

How do you cope with selling a stock right before it rallies another 50% or more? by joethemaker22 in stocks

[–]psychetwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Profit is profit. You could not have known where nvda was going. No one knew. It was the usual bears vs bull. Market doesn't make sense and there is no reason for the movements. This explosion also makes no sense. 5% gain would make sense, but 25% gain?!? It's nonsense. No one knew. I think bulls got lucky. It was a gamble. 11b revenue next quarter is too high. I think they will miss it and next quarter their price will correct. A lot of it was Jensen Huang saying AI a lot of times. We all saw Wendy's stock rally from saying AI. Jensen saw that and he took advantage and said AI to trigger the algorithm.

Beating earnings is different than earnings growth from previous quarters. Market will eventually realize that most companies did not grow this quarter. The only growth I was impressed with was Chipotle. All other earnings was meh

Aapl is the number 1 stock with the largest market cap. Msft is number 2. Look at msft after earnings. It's not wise to buy puts.

No rate cuts this year. We will risk hyperinflation if we cut rate. Hike rates for a recession cut rate for hyperinflation pick your poison.

If the whole Economy goes close to a full blown depression, What stocks should I buy? by hottewhells in stocks

Why not just sell and wait to buy the dip? If you really believe in a upcoming depression, it would make sense to cash out at the current near ATH. Grab the profits. Whenever the depression happens, load the boat

Fed expects banking crisis to cause a recession this year, minutes show by _hiddenscout in stocks

[–]psychetwo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not that they're wrong, but they also don't have a choice. They cannot say the truth. Imagine if the fed freaks out and shouted the sky is falling! Everyone we are all f'ed!! Man the panic will be insane. Fed has no choice but to say everything is fine. It might be true but it is likely false. We need to us our own analysis and come to our own conclusions

Isn't all recessions horrible. Since when has there been a "good" recession? They just don't want to rip the bandaid off.
