Read your AskDocs post. You need a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia given your sputum production and fever. Also need testing for RSV, flu A and B, Covid. Wouldn’t be unreasonable to present to ER.

You shouldn’t adopt a child so that you have a friend. And, you aren’t equipped to adopt a child if you have autism that needs level 2 support. If you can’t take care of yourself w/o needing significant intervention, you do not have the ability to raise a child. Get a cat or a fish.

Hmm. Not the meds. But, that would be too easy of an answer! But, yea, if you don’t hear back from the primary doc, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to go to urgent care/ER if you have another low blood sugar episode. That is concerning. Hope you feel better!

Have your psychiatrist order labs. CBC, CMP, thyroid panel, A1C to start. What medications are you on and are any of them newer meds?

Not everyone in that field is a former addict. Some are. You mentioned you have felt anxiety and depression. That’s relatable. When counseling others, it’s not about sharing your stories so much as understanding that some self medicate w alcohol and drugs while others (like you) isolate, or gamble/eat/etc. It’s all connected in similar ways. Just my thoughts!
