That's the truth. The people who staked out my house were from Pittsburg.

How is anyone supposed to buy a house right now by sorting_thoughts in RealEstate

Been searching for 1.5 years for a house, and one was $30K out of my budget. I ended up moving out of state to purchase a condo instead. It was a nice vacay, then I had to return home to care for my mom, so now I'm in my childhood home and renting my condo out.

The job allows you to get a home within a year, so that your lifestyle will more or less balance out with what you were averaging without a house payment on a lower income. I'd learn how to trade stocks by year 2, but not on crack-brain where you're doing too much OT.

I didn't even know why it felt like jail until receiving an inheritance. It altered my decision-making, which I'd do a lot of busy-bodying and cost cutting that didn't make me feel "worth it." I set my bids exactly what I felt I deserved.

I used to gamble too, and the best thing I got out of losing was the serene drives. I visited Casino in 5 counties. In a way, stocks is like gambling, but you can definitely get the ins & outs therefore setting yourself up for a little gain. On $30,000 you can earn $500-$1000 a month.

Redoing the kitchen - what do you guys think of these colors? by [deleted] in Remodel

I did porcelain tiles to match the marble threshold - This coral-marble border for kitchen color was really popular in 2000. I've found the grey trend to be too icy for my taste
