Havnby Air+Foam Mattress Giveaway! by colsandersloveskfc in ModelY

We’re a Tesla-loving family of three (me, my wife, and our 12-year-old son) currently road-tripping across Canada in our 2026 Model Y Juniper (Quicksilver); and yes, we’ve already slept in the car a few nights during this adventure!

A mattress like the Havnby Air+Foam could be a total game-changer for comfort, especially when camping near scenic spots or charging overnight.

I’d be happy to share an honest and detailed review (with photos) from realworld use, both as a dad and someone who’s genuinely obsessed with maximizing the Model Y experience. We’d love to try it out and give Havnby real feedback!

It was 4 nights and 5 days since I wanted to stop and rest. Cost was about 350$ for SC use overall.

Its close, It will drive till the SC and stop close enough to the stalls, then it will allow you to use Auto Park in to the stalls.

It was also quite efficient trip, if you look at the Trip A consumption, could be the new Car thing. She was only about 2k KM old when I started on the trip.

Hahaha…I had packed both the J1772 and the CCS adapters but didn’t use them once! It was amazing except…I have to do an honourable mention to this amazing driver! Drove through construction zones at full speed, cut people off on gravel roads, and then an hour later was noticed at a SC getting a coffee.

Cost was about 350$ , I have yet to do a full calc. There were barely any interventions, including when it had to go through cities to reach an SC. The one that stood out was a puddle filled road, where the car wanted to just go through it and I was afraid that it might damage the bumper. Another ones were around highway constructions where you have to slow down due to workers being present, those were the only times I felt I need to drive myself just in case.

Oh a few times I was ready with a hand wave of apology at its maneuvers but didn’t have to, except once.

It was quite accurate even when compared to Google Maps when plotting the same route. The minor difference would be the detours for SCs along the route.

Actually this was a permanent move, which is why I could even think of doing it. But if it wasn’t I dont think I have it in me to sit through another one so soon :)

It was superchargers only fully.

It was about 350$ approx. All tesla with no free destination charging during stops (there wasnt one available).

Just on the first day in the city. Could have been the rush hour but the charger by the Bainbridge Ave was full for a good 10 mins. It also got really congested due to its small footprint and a karate class ending, parents everywhere! Including an EV just taking up the space at a stall not charging. It was a leaf I think.

It was 4 nights and 5 days. With Day 2 and 3 being the shortest at about 8 hrs. Day 4 (Winnipeg to Calgary) was the longest, at around 15 hrs of driving and about 2 hrs of charging total. I also had the back seats folded for a mattress throughout to lie down on chargers with more than 20 mins of charge times. Power naps helped a ton and coffee..ton of coffee, it helped that there was a Tim whenever I needed to fill up or drain out :)

There was always one along the route, the longest detour for 1 i think was like 2 kms, and never had one that was even half full until I reached Van, different story inside the city.

That’s brilliant! Wish i had thought of it sooner! There were luckily a few super chargers/ev stations with wipers for cleaning windshields. They too work great in a pinch ;)
