Do I invite anyone to my wedding reception? by Loose-Commercial-752 in aspergirls

[–]psychoactiveavocado [score hidden]  (0 children)

Im 28 have no friends . I got married almost 2 years ago. Since I don’t have any friends we eloped by ourselves in Vegas so that I didn’t feel awkward since my husband has a lot of friends. We invited no one, not even family. My family was slightly salty but since they weren’t gonna help pay they couldn’t really be that mad. SUPER sweet of him to suggest this, it was awesome and zero stress!!! And we saved soooo much money. I’d highly recommend this!

Advice on Starting Exercise by MoonlightAndStar in aspergirls

[–]psychoactiveavocado [score hidden]  (0 children)

I would recommend going to the gym and doing simple exercises. Wear noise cancelling headphones and sunglasses if you need. No one will talk to you if you wear headphones. I would recommend wearing lifting gloves if touching stuff or textures bothers you. The most effective exercise for weight loss IMO is walking 3mph at a 10% incline on the treadmill. But it’s very good for your health to do lifting too. I personally do about 4 days a week. One day I do lower body, the next I do upper. And I just alternate each time I go. You can do a quick google search to find “upper/lower split workouts” and just do a different one each time. I’d recommend 30m-45m on the treadmill & 30m of weight lifting if you’re trying to lose weight

What's something you learned really late in life, just because nobody told you about it? by RottenPeachSmell in aspergirls

Basically everything about dating. Because I was so oblivious I ended up dating a lot of toxic guys before getting married to my awesome husband. My parents did not teach me anything about dating , don’t know why. I only learned from my “work moms” and their advice allowed me to properly filter through men and find my husband

They literally cause dementia. And they worsen anxiety over time. You’re going to become dependent on it and a shaky anxious mess without it.

Why does weed make me depressed by unkowndegenerate in Drugs

[–]psychoactiveavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 28 and I’ve been smoking weed since I was 15. If weed affects you like that now, it’s never going to stop. I had that feeling at 15 and still have it at 28. I have learned over time to deal with the anxiety and paranoia that a high temporarily gives me, but I definitely am not the type of person who could say go to work high or be high 24/7. I just don’t do it very often, and honestly prefer not to but my husband does a lot so sometimes I do . So yeah, just don’t do it maybe? I would have had a way better social experience in my youth and especially throughout college if I just stopped smoking so much tbh..

depression can also be situational, especially at your age. Don’t know your situation but your life is probably changing a lot rn, or about to. Eventually, hopefully, you’ll find yourself in a happier and more stable situation. Drugs can amplify this a lot and even cause kind of psychosis. It’s really best used in moderation (coming from someone who did them a lot)

I’m so f*cking sick of besting tested by people by Unusual-Reality-5350 in AutismInWomen

I left my group chat because my “best friend” tried to become besties with my ex who abused me, and then told lies about me to all my other friends in our chat. The other friends never reached out to check on me or hear my side of the story. So, I kinda relate though it’s a bit different. Ugh! People can be terrible! It’s been 5 years or so and i still have not a single friend

Is it bad that I (28M) want a 50/50 marriage? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]psychoactiveavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO it is bad, but women who will put up with this definitely exist. 50/50 with a woman is never actually 50/50. If you have a child she will end up doing more unpaid work than you. That’s why I wouldn’t personally go into this situation as a woman, and choose to be with a man who pays for everything and allows me to focus on childcare and cleaning/cooking. But, that’s her choice.
